I've bought many cars over the years, and never had such horrible experiences like I've experienced with th I wouldn't recommend Jeff Wyler to anyone! I've bought many cars over the years, and never had such horrible experiences like I've experienced with this dealership! It has been one issue after another from the buying experience to the service experience. I know that I'm not the only one that has experienced the same kind of issues. After purchasing a brand new $32000 car I was told they lost a key fob, and the owners manual, but they would get me a new key fob, however I could just print out a owners manual from online. Took over two weeks and many trips to get this resolved however I find it hard to believe that a Camaro only comes with an owner's manual and nothing else. When I purchased my last new vehicle which was half the price, it came with multiple books, DVDs etc. The finance guy almost made me back out of the sell and now I really should have. Part of his push to sell an extended warranty was to state they only offer a 3 year 36000 mile warranty for a reason, and that's because after that they know the vehicle will start having issues and theyndont want to be responsible for all that cost. Well my previous car had a 5 year 60000 mile warranty, and I was never told it would fall apart after that. If GM only makes their vehicles to last through the warranty, maybe everyone should not purchase their products.. Now when scheduling my vehicle for service I'm told I didn't purchase the vehicle from them, and after the first person hung up on me, the second one said the same thing, but said they could schedule me a regular appointment. I get a reminder call about my service appointment, only to arrive and be told I don't have an appointment. The service guy said it happens a lot because the systems dontnalways talk to each other. I was then offered a carwash, which I said yes too, however car was returned without a carwash. Please read the reviews for this place and shop elsewhere if you are looking to make a purchase. I bought my previous car from Ricart, and the experience was awesome, everything came with the vehicle, they walked me through everything, they followed up on a regular basis. Again all I heard while in the waiting area were the horror stories like mine, so I know it's just not me, so shop elsewhere when looking for a vehicle. I forgot to mention the salesman told me with all the discounts he could get me out the door about $8000 less than what I ended up paying. When I asked about the other incentives, he said those don't apply to customers, but we are required to still post them as part of the pricing package. I should have backed out of the deal, and if I had it to do all over with I would! I seen an awesome vehicle while in for my service, but I would not trade my vehicle in there to buy it after my experience. It appears my sales person has already left the company, so his career there was short lived. More
Overpromised and underdelivered We recently purchased a 2018 Chevy Cruz. ive Purchased many cars from many different dealerships over the last three decades, but never have I ever e We recently purchased a 2018 Chevy Cruz. ive Purchased many cars from many different dealerships over the last three decades, but never have I ever experienced the deception and a total lack of responsiveness that I received from Jeff Wyler Chevrolet. I was promised many things while shopping for a vehicle for my son. Some things were put in writing and others were just verbal promises. I’ve waited now over 30 days for their written promise to activate the Onstar Safety and Security plan, but they never called Onstar to activate it like they claimed after promising there wouldn’t be a lapse of service. I contacted Onstar customer service and they told me I was blatantly misinformed by the dealership about their claims. The Onstar representative said activation takes no more than 5 minutes. Joe Day from Jeff Wyler told me it could take a while before Onstar could activate the service, but that it would be activated within 30 days without any lapse of service. All in writing. Now that we’re traveling for the holidays, we don’t have the service that we were promised and wanted to have for out of state traveling. The deception and dishonesty of the people at this place is beyond anything I ever experienced from any other car dealership. This includes the lies I was told by my salesman and the Finance guy who claimed the lowest rate they could give someone with a 831 FICO score is 5.09%. I called my bank a week later and am refinancing it at a much lower rate for the term length I had requested multiple times at Jeff Wyler. The fact that they lied to my face multiple times just to get a sale is shameful. Just don’t do business with these guys ever, not even for an oil change. There are plenty of honest dealerships out there that will stay true to their promises. More
