The dealership experience was OK but by all means , read your purchase agreement slowly . I was in a hurry and apparently they knew it . The price was over what we agreed on . I also unknowingly bought a window etching security crap that I was told was included with the car , it cost me $299 which I dont think means included . I also have a problem with the radio that doesnt work but since it wasnt a certified Mazda , I am apparently on my own. I guess even though it was messed up when I got it , that doesnt mean anything . Read your agreement and take your time , I didt and its going to cost me . More
The great sales staff made the whole process quick and easy. I can't imagine buying a car anywhere else would any easier. Jesse was very friendly & helpful. He seemed interested in helping us find a car that would be perfect for our family. He wasn't pushy. He was down-to-earth. The only negative part of the visit was the time it took to complete the paperwork(got to the dealership at 12 & left at about 5) & finalize the sale. I purchased a FORD a few years ago & the entire process took a couple of hours, at the most. The financial manager was a bit pushy. I know it's his job & I'm sure his paycheck and job security is based on his sale of those plans, but he wouldn't let it go. Also,when my husband told him the car would be in my name, he actually said,"really?", like it's 1951 & women don't own things. Made me a little frustrated. Other than that,the very friendly salesman & car with amenities for a better price than those elsewhere made the experience great!Thank you, Jesse! More
After my first glowing review of this dealership, I felt the need to revise my opinion of Jeff Schmitt Mazda. As with most dealerships, after they make the sale they cease to care about the customer. I just took my car to the dealership for its first oil change. First, it took three times trying to get an answer from the service dept. I tried to call at various times on different days, no answer. Finally after a week of trying I finally got through. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time the service manager appeared very rushed and frustrated (he said it was the end of the day and his guys "needed to get home") BTW my appt time was 4:00pm. When I tried to ask him questions about the car he tried to push me off on another employee that was not in that day. When I told him I have problems with the car I needed fixed, he told me to call another day and make an appointment. Really? Concerning the cars quality, I have multiple issues with things that need to be fixed, I have noooooo idea how Mazda has such high inital quality ratings! The vehicle was great for the first two weeks. I will never purchase a car from another Jeff Schmitt dealer again! More
Dealer is high pressure. Make sure to watch your invoices while going through the contracts cause they will screw you over in every way they can. If it wasn't for the fact that I trusted them we would be in a much better place right now. Go elsewhere, find an honest sales team, an honest sales manager. More
The car was dirty when I first looked it over, The quote from the salesman "we'll detail it before you take it." After being at the dealership for 4 hours, it was 10 PM, I took the car home. There were dead leaves in the trunk area, hair on the back seat, crumbs, on the console, sneeze spray on the front windshield and review mirror, spilled food on the dash. The attempt at cleaning the windshield on the outside, just spread the dead bugs out, I could go on. They left me a grand opening sign in the trunk along with the new floor mats. The inspection sheet stated that the windshield was inspected, it didn't note the poor repair of chip I found the next morning. Did take the car back the next day, they did make attempt to clean it, they did a very poor job at the second try, Even the salesman that delivered the car noticed the crumbs still in the car, the windows were clean in areas, with a heavy film that comes from using a dirty rag to clean windows. Be aware don't sign anything until your happy with the car. I felt I got a good deal, but it didn't say as is. More
Jennifer was wonderful. we went in just looking for a vehicle with no intention on buying. After talking with her and test driving a couple cars she found us what we were looking for. We are trying to re vehicle with no intention on buying. After talking with her and test driving a couple cars she found us what we were looking for. We are trying to rebuild our credit after my husband became disabled and the dealership was fantastic in working with us. We now own a wonderful car that we are extremely happy with. My experience with Reggie and Jeff Schmitt Mazda was absolutely great. They were very welcoming and got me into the car without having to haggle for price (USAA Pricing) and got me a MazdaSpeed3 for a S absolutely great. I was my intention to merely look at the cars that were available, but not to purchase one that weekend. In fact, I had not intended to purchase a Miata at all.
