We typically never post reviews on line. However...my wife and I had a exceptional experience shopping for a new car at Jeff Schmitt Mazda and in particular working with Matthew Mick. We explained to Matt what our specific needs were and that early in the process we just wanted to better understand what Mazda had to offer versus actually driving a car. We visited other dealerships who were given the same message. Some were OK, and others barely tolerated us. When we went back to JSM, Matt expressed his willingness to continue to work with us and do his best to meet our specific needs. No high pressure sales tactics were ever used by Matt nor anyone else at the dealership. We ultimately purchased a new CX-5 and couldn't be happier with the entire process. First class all the way. This is the way a dealership and the purchase process should work. More
I purchased my Mazda at a different Mazda dealer but always come to Jeff Schmitt for oil changes and maintenance because of Cody Lesher, Service Advisor. Everything went fine until I sat and waited for almost an hour to talk to a finance guy. I wasn't financing so I had no idea why I had to see him. I was facing a three hour drive back home and I wanted to get back before dark. I was assigned to a girl named Maddie who had just started working there. She tried hard but since she was unfamiliar with everything she had to ask other employs about everything. Since I wasn't trading in a car and since I was paying cash there is no reason to take hours to do the transaction !!!! More
Chloe and Karma were so helpful during my car buying journey. From my first test drive when I arrived on the lot a few minutes before closing time, to locating the trim and color I wanted, to delivery d journey. Helpful, communicative and low-pressure - exactly why I came back to Jeff Schmitt instead of any of the other dealers I talked to. Karma also gave me all the information ahead of time that I needed to consider before signing papers and handing over the check - I took it home with me to review while waiting on my car to arrive. I’m so thankful for that option, because now I feel really good about the decision to add the protection options that I did. I’m so grateful to have worked with two professional ladies like Chloe and Karma on my CX-5 purchase. More
Got the opportunity to work Steve Gwinn in regard to a TON of questions I had about a SUV that I was interested in. I arrived at a deal with the dealership for a new car that was arriving in the next few weeks. I was to put a $500 deposit down and pay the balance when it arrived . This happened late on 8/8. The policy had mysteriously been canceled on 8:8 at 5:30 pm , or directly after our deal, and I could no longer reserve the incoming vehicle. I had the texts between myself and the salesperson explaining our deal in detail and they still refused to honor it. I think it’s quite clear that since I was “only” paying full MSRP, that they saw the opportunity to charge a premium and canceled our deal. The funny thing is that we live within 3 miles of the dealership and all scheduled maintenance would have been done there. So they gave up all that future revenue as well as losing me and anyone in my family as a future customer over a couple thousand dollars. We ordered the same car at Kings and actually saved a couple bucks so it worked out but I would avoid this dealership More

Stopped in to get the service records of a Miata tha business I ran a Mercedes-Benz dealership's Body Shop and a Volvo BMW's dealership body shop. Stopped in to get the service records of a Miata that I own and they were spectacularly quick and efficient and polite and a pleasure to work with somebody so professional while I was there I thought I would get my Miata appraised Josh took very professional care of me he's obviously a very knowledgeable guy and if I ever buy a a new Mazda it will be from him. Very professional very KNOWLEDGEABLE!. .OH. and I believe Quincy(?) is a fellow that helped me also .great guy. Thank you guys for a very nice experience at your dealership. More
