I stopped by Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet on Saturday to see what all the hype was about with them giving away a new car. It wasn't me that won, but I did have the pleasure to meet Rob. Brandon Eckman promptly greeted us as soon as we arrived. Brandon helped us find what we were looking for without the high pressure tactics that many people associated with used car sales. Brandon worked with us until we found the car that we wanted and was very patient while waiting for us to make a decision and waiting for us to hear back from our insurance agent to get an idea what our new insurance rates would be for our vehicle of choice. Because Brandon knew that we had had some issues at a different used car lot the day before, he made sure that he went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with our entire process today. Brandon had even shared some of our previous concerns from the prior day with his manager, Mark Holly. Mark made an extra effort to make sure we were happy as well. Mark made some phone calls to the other dealership to find out some information for us, and had even increased the value of our trade in from what the previous dealer had told us. When all was said and done, we had spent several hours with Brandon. Not once did he give us the impression that we were taking too long or that he would rather be doing something else. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the process and all of our questions were answered. Everyone was extremely friendly without being "used car salesman" pushy. Joe did a nice job of working with me on the price to get down to where I needed to be.
