I came to Jeff Schmitt to find a reliable car because my car had broken down. I am a full time student, have a disabled child, and am very active in my school and community. I do not have the best credit and I was astonished when I was told that I could be approved for a 2003 Jaguar with only 107,000 miles on it. For obvious reasons, I-like many others would, jumped at the opportunity to have such a nice vehicle. I ignored all of the voices in my head telling me that something was not right with this picture. The day that I picked up my car, I was told that the small leak in one of the tires had been fixed. I drove it home and turned right back around because it was already almost flat. They did order a new wheel as it was bent. That I was happy about. What I was not happy about was that before they could even get the wheel in (I was driving on a spare), my car broke down. I called the dealership and after sitting in the cold for three hours, they finally sent a tow truck. Myself and four other witnesses watched the tow driver hook up my "new" car and haul it to Jeff Schmitt. (I was also told that the dealership only had three loaner cars and they were out so it was my problem to find a car while it was being fixed.) When I went to pick up my car, I was told that they could not "duplicate the issue and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle." Also, my headlight was busted out. Let me take a few steps back and tell you that Joe had already informed me that,"they can back out of the loan at any time" while I was making a complaint. Upon speaking to the General Manager, Jeff, I was told that the headlight was not their responsibility because I cannot prove that they busted it out or that it happened on their property. He told me that he could order me a headlight and I would only have to pay their price to fix it!!!! He also told me that as far as a loaner car is concerned, they can only loan me a used car for two days ( I guess I have to walk if it takes more than two days to fix my car)! This has been the WORST buying experience of my life!!! I would have been better off to fix the engine in my old car. I have had better service from "mom and pop" car lots for sure! They did not even take the time to clean and detail the car for me! I have no idea how Jeff Schmitt is such a big business if this is how they treat their customers. Completely disgusted! We bought a new sports car in 2011 (the wife's dream car) from Brian who is now the manager. We went back last summer to look at another sports car (the husband's dream car) and Josh was very patient w car) from Brian who is now the manager. After a long time and lots of effort on Brian and Josh's part we determined that we just could not afford it at that time. We recently realized we needed a new SUV and began working with Josh again since our treatment at their store had been so good. During this time my father in law had gone there to buy his wife a car also. Our schedule never matched up with Josh's schedule and we could not meet up. The day we were actually able to go to the dealership happened to be the weekend that Josh was out of town. We were helped by a very nice young man by the name of Shawn. He went out of his way to drive us back and forth in the freezing cold until we found the right one for us. They stayed open late so we could drive home in our new SUV. It took quite a while to get everything completed and Shawn made sure he kept us informed of everything that was going on the whole time. He even offered our daughter his girl scout cookies. We will certainly be back there for our next purchase and especially when it is time to buy hubby's new fancy ride. More

We visited Jeff Schmidt Chevy North dealership on 2/23. From the very beginning - our Sales Person Brad Stacy was extremely helpful. Brad listened to what we were interested in purchasing and offered many options within the range of our budget. We didn't feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle - but felt as if we were dealing with someone who wanted what was best for us. Brad was an extreme joy to work with and I would highly reccommend him to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle. Dave Zelik worked to secure our loan for our 2012 Chevy Malibu. Dave gave us a tremendous deal on our trade-in and went above and beyond to get us into the car we really wanted. Thank you so much Dave! Kelly Grady was such a joy to work with! Kelly made signing the paperwork actually fun and painless. Even though it was after closing hours by the time everything was completed - being a Chevy Malibu owner herself - Kelly took us out and gave us some great tips in operating our vehicle. She is a true asset to the Jeff Schmidt Auto Group! Overall my husband and I couldn't have been treated any better or given a better deal than what we experienced with Jeff Schmidt Chevrolet! If you need a new or used car - definitely take the time to stop by and visit the dealership and the people listed above. You won't be disappointed! More
Our overall experience with Jeff Schmitt Auto Group in Fairborn was wonderful. After 5 to 6 phone calls between my husband, Rick and Jeff, we made a trip to Fairborn to see a truck. I wan't to trade a used car that I had bought years ago in an upside down loan for something new and within my budget. We looked at a truck on Saturday...truck would not start,jumped it said it was because of weather! Called Saturday night told them we would take it...Amber said to come back tomorrow (Sunday) at 430.. start,jumped it said it was because of weather! Called Saturday night told them we would take it...Amber said to come back tomorrow (Sunday) at 430..we get there only to find truck still on lot not cleaned....spoke to Kelly and she said it would be cleaned and ready but when she spoke to someone they told her it would not start again,so after paper work signed we could not take truck home...they called us Monday and said it was ready,so yet again another trip ..picked up DIRTY truck,Donald forgot his snap shot and license plates on car so called Amber,she said she would have them pulled and ready...Kelly called Thursday to say some paperwork was not signed..so again another trip there on Saturday to sign the rest and pick up the left behind things...well they cant find the snapshot nor license plates! Now the insurance is gonna go up because its unplugged and someone has to pay for the camera!! Window on truck cracked and said it would be fixed or replaced..guy came to house and filled it but didnt like how it filled!! The running to the dealership was way more then should have been and the misplacing of personal things is crazy or was the call to Amber neglected when she told us she would get it out of car.The only thing nice out of this was the ladies we spoke with (Amber and Kelly) they were great! But the dirty truck and no calls returned is nuts,and will be turned in to someone higher,if the call was neglected then be honest and tell us the car was sold with the snapshot in it dont tell us on Saturday morning you will call us and here it is Monday and no call!! My only issues are one week after my purchase the fan blower motor started making noise at all speeds. I had to replace. The drive belt was making a noise that could not be stopped by any method. I went into the used car dealership in fairborn and was interested in a 2011 chevy silverado truck took it for a test drive and came back very interested.So I asked the salesman whats the best deal he can interested in a 2011 chevy silverado truck took it for a test drive and came back very interested.So I asked the salesman whats the best deal he can do. So he started to take down some of my information asked if I had a trade I said yes year make model then he asked how much I owed on my truck I responded that I didnt want to divulge that information and wanted to see how much I could get on trade first.He stood up and said goodby I asked are you serious he said goodby again and started to walk outside and took the tag off the truck.By now I'm getting pissed so I said I've never been treated so rude and threw his business card at him as I was walking out the door.I'm not sure what kind of business Jeff Schmitt is trying to run but if thats the way he treats his customers I would be supprised if he ever sold any cars.The commercials always say were dealing apparantly not!!!! This has to be the worst experience I have ever had and I or any of my friends or family will never vist this car dealership ever again.I'm still shock at this horrible experience More
