Excellent Customer Service in an Emergency I had a major break down as I was leaving the airport in Minneapolis to travel four hours back to my home in Iowa with my three children. I contacted I had a major break down as I was leaving the airport in Minneapolis to travel four hours back to my home in Iowa with my three children. I contacted Belzer's and reached Jason Lanigan. Customer service sometimes seems to be a lost art these days, but not with Jason! I had several phone calls with him before getting my van to the dealership. Unfortunately my van could not be driven, but Jason got me in a courtesy vehicle and on my way home. He made several phone calls to my husband and I to explain the problem and the options for fixing the van. Charlie, the mechanic who worked on the van, was excellent too! I was able to drive the courtesy car until I returned a few days later to get the van. From start to finish Jason was there to answer any questions and to make sure the kids and I were able to get home. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and customer service I received. I highly recommend this dealership! More
Oil Leak on my Dodge Grand Caravan Jason was my servce advisor and he was very friendly and helpful. I had noticed some fluid on my garage floor and was worried there was a safety issue Jason was my servce advisor and he was very friendly and helpful. I had noticed some fluid on my garage floor and was worried there was a safety issue for my wife & kids since that is the vehical that they regularly use. I scheduled an appointment and Jason kept in good communication as they identified the issue. It turned oiut there was multiple areas that were leaking fluids. The valve cover gaskets and the transmission soleniod pack. My overall experience was a good one. It would have been a perfect experience if I had come out to my vehicle and it had been washed not dirty like when it was brought in. They had to power wash the undercarriage to clean the oil off when repairing the leaks so in my opinion it wouldn't have taken much to wash the outside of the van at that time. You would be surprised that something as small as a car wash can make a big difference for your customer. My other vehicle is a Hyundai and when ever I have service done at that dealership they always wash it and that is why I keep coming back to them versus a standard car shop. More
These Dipsticks. Where do I begin. Today, Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 I went to Jeff Belzers in Lakeville. How long do you think an oil change should take? Certainly Where do I begin. Today, Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 I went to Jeff Belzers in Lakeville. How long do you think an oil change should take? Certainly not 3 hours. This was my experience today at Jeff Belzers in Lakeville, MN. It began with me sitting in the waiting room waiting for my routine oil change to be completed. One of the service advisors walk up to me and told me there was a problem, the problem was that they had broken my oil dipstick and it needed to be replaced. He then goes on to tell me that since it was my first time getting service there that they would not cover the cost and that I would have to cover the cost for a new one. He then states that it is going to be about 45 minutes until they an get a new dipstick from Burnsville. This was starting to get on my nerves because an oil change that should not have taken more than 30 minutes was now going to take an hour. Well another hour beyond that goes by and I do not hear from any Serviceman or any of the Techs. Then they tell me that they had to get one of their higher techs to look at it and get the dipstick out. So in that hour they accomplished very little that hour. They are now going to charge me for the labor for the tech to get the the dipstick out, which I had to pay $68.50 for the cost of the Technician labor. Another hour goes by and the Serviceman walks in and says everything is all done and it was time for me to check out. The total cost of the routine oil change and all these dipsticks dealing with the dipstick was 121.60. This was outrageous, this was supposed to be just a normal oil change and nothing else. The dipstick was working fine a few days earlier when I had check my oil levels, I managed to get it out just fine, apparently these dipsticks had some issues. The Serviceman then offered to give me discount on the labor cost, which definitely helped, but it is still insane to think that they would charge me for their mistake. If a company were to make a mistake like this they should at least offer to cover the cost of the new part and the cost of the labor to fix it, not at Jeff Belzers in Lakeville, no sir. The level of service I had received today was very poor, solidifying my option to never return to Jeff Belzers in Lakeville again and telling everyone I know who is looking for a new car or maintenance on a car to avoid this place at all costs. This is THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT ANY ESTABLISHMENT. Signed, Lost a customer, and with this service, potentially many more. More
Excellent Service from Joe Decker! I had 2 flats among other things after sliding into a ditch. I was able to make an apt right away with Joe Decker. He helped me out tremendously. The I had 2 flats among other things after sliding into a ditch. I was able to make an apt right away with Joe Decker. He helped me out tremendously. The work, quality, and his attitude handling the situation would make anyone come back. He definitely enjoys his job and will go the extra mile needed if need be. Also my first car was from this dealership and this second time around they didn't disappoint... I think it's safe to say I'll make it a permanent go to place! More
Service Dept Went to Belzer service dept for an oil change and tire rotation. As I left the dealership my driver side front tire fell off. I purchased my Ram 350 Went to Belzer service dept for an oil change and tire rotation. As I left the dealership my driver side front tire fell off. I purchased my Ram 3500 truck from them and this was the first oil change. They did accept responsibility and "fixed" the damage are far as I can tell (will take to an independent machanic to verify that). I was lucky it fell off right away because I would have been on HWY after next corner. Don't know what would happen to me or someone else if I lose tire at HWY speeds. Belzers did offer me a free oil change and tire rotation. Thanks but no thanks!!!! More
A complete joke of a service department. Two bad experiences. Both times were warranty work, the first time they made me wait for several hours and would not give a loaner or rental plus gave me t experiences. Both times were warranty work, the first time they made me wait for several hours and would not give a loaner or rental plus gave me the we couldn't anything excuse. The second time we made an appointment the day before, went to the dealer the next day and got told we don't have a tech here today. Not sure why we can make an appointment when you don't have tech's there. Not to mention they made my wife and I wait almost 2 hours to tell us we needed to make another appointment and come back when they didn't even have to do anything because no tech's were there. Also the sales department pretty much won't acknowledge you once you drive a new car off the lot. They got their sale and I guess that's all they care about. I also was told we would get a coupon for a free oil change which i never got and it's been 7 months. I will never return for any service work nor will i even consider them the next time i purchase a vehicle. I would highly NOT recommend Jeff Belzer's. More
