I bought a 2017 BMW X5 with 59,000 miles from them recently. I flew in from out of town and drove it home. It was a trade in that they had. They told me that everything was fixed by the BMW dealership recently. I flew in from out of town and drove it home. It was a trade in that they had. They told me that everything was fixed by the BMW dealership when it was traded in. I took it for a quick test drive everything seemed good so I purchased the car and drove it home. Within a day there were check engine type errors related to the chassis the air suspension. It won’t fill up the rear shocks consistently and it needs a new compressor and rear air shocks. A new compressor installed is about 2500 bucks and the air shocks themselves are about another 1000 bucks. The car is literally unusable because it bounces so bad when you drive it. They text me the day after I bought the car to see how things were going to and to just check in. I told them the drive home went well 5-6 hours from dealership but then after I parked it at home, and went to use it again the following days there were suspension and air compressor type issues and lights on the dash. Needless to say they don’t respond. I’m guessing they would have known about this before selling it to me. I find it hard to believe that they didn’t, I have received no response to the texts letting them know that I feel like I was scammed and that there’s major problems with this car. I have been able, on occasion to get the air compressor to fill up the suspension which will last for a short period of time, which is what I’m guessing they did when they sold the car to me…make it look like it works knowing when I got home it wouldn’t. Shame on me for trusting them. I know better but they seemed like they were shooting straight…. More
