I had a very good experience buying a 2010 Camry from Jay Wolfe Toyota and Alex Gentile. Their approach to providing certified cars, information on the actual vehicle and the purchase process were all quali Wolfe Toyota and Alex Gentile. Their approach to providing certified cars, information on the actual vehicle and the purchase process were all quality and differentiated from other dealers I visited. There were a few delays in paperwork and I didn't need a pitch on an extended warranty on a certified vehicle but other than that it was a great interaction. I recommend Alex and Jay Wolfe Toyota. It's very stressful when buying a new car & Mike Bozzi spent a lot of time with me and made my experience a pleasant one. After the sale I had a few issues with scratches & a dent & Andrew Duncan wa Bozzi spent a lot of time with me and made my experience a pleasant one. After the sale I had a few issues with scratches & a dent & Andrew Duncan was ever so gracious & took care of all the problems. He went above & beyond keeping me informed of their progress, making sure that I had a rental car & even brought it to my job. So far I am very happy with my service & will continue to return. Keep up the good work! More
Here is my experience in getting a new key holder for my 06 rav 4 1st dealer visit 6 weeks ago i sent my wife in Jay wolfe's parts dept with a broken remote entry key case to get a replacement ordered 06 rav 4 1st dealer visit 6 weeks ago i sent my wife in Jay wolfe's parts dept with a broken remote entry key case to get a replacement ordered she said that there were up 3 techs over the computer terminal trying to determine what needed to be ordered. ( note we were just ordering the plastic case the remote transmitter and the actual key were working fine)they ended up ordering just the pieces that were broken and said they would have them in a week for about $24.00 5 days later we were told the parts were in 2nd dealer visit the parts that were ordered in were not the ones we needed the tech said he would order the correct parts and call us when it arrived. 2 1/2 weeks later we called back and asked about the parts they said it had been on the shelf "for a while " but did not seem to be too concerned about the delay. 3rd Dealer visit My wife was available the next day and arrived at the dealership to find that they still did not have the correct parts this time the order was made for a complete key case now the price is $50.00 and they'll call us when they have the part. 4th dealer visit the part is in (5 weeks after the initial visit) my wife goes back to the dealership with the original key and the VIN number (because the key cuts are stored in the computer system based on VIN numbers) a new key is cut,but when we test it in my Rav the key doesn't fit the lock!!!) At this point we are getting a little frustrated after more than a month and a total of 4 18 mile round trips to the dealership. I explain the situation and ask for the parts , manager I'm told that the key was cut according to the vin and that if i bring the key back in they can re-cut it based on a physical trace of the existing key.they told me the manager Jason was out but would be at the dealership at 8am So I rearranged my work schedule to be at the dealership the next morning. 5th dealer visit was greeted at the counter by Will who looked at the new key that did not work, compared it to the original that i brought in that did and said let me go talk to my manager. came back out and offered to recut the key. after he cut the the he wanted to know where my car was to test the new key (Will had the recut key at this point did not hand it to me to test --- something that i thought was odd ---- we walked out and when he tried the key in the drivers side door it was obvious that while the key did turn in the lock the action was not smooth ( he dtride the lock more than 10 times then he moved into the drivers seat to test the key in the ignition starting and stopping the car about 8 times before pronouncing me "good to go". at this point i asked for the newly recut key to test for myself . it seems to be fine in the ignition. but the action in the drivers sdie door seems to require almost twice as much turning effort as the original key. Will said that it is not unusual for a new key to be stiffer till it gets worn in . I then voice my concerns about the effort required to turn the new key and wonder if the new key and the effort to turn it is going to damage my the lock mechanism in the door or the ignition Where upon Will goes back into the office to check with his manager (assumedly Jason who apparently won't be bothered with a potentially unsatisfied customer) he returns saying that they won't be responsible if the new key causes any damage to my car. After I express my disappointment with the entire situation Will once againg goes back to his manager brings back the word if i want to return the key I can get a full refund. At this point the anger is starting to displace my disappointment so rather than make a scene I just shake my head and walk away with badly delivered poorly cut replacement key. Resolution -- the key is still stiff but workable in the door of my car it is now on my wifes keychain as an emergency spare and I'm using her key as a primary. I plan to never go into Jay Wolfe Toyota again. I will share this experience with as many dealer reviews sites as I can I will share this experience with any one who asks me about Jay Wolfe toyota More
Absolutely horrible experience! Bought our new car using TrueCar which was the only saving grace of the whole situation. David and Jason were very unprofessional, don't return phone calls and will make up TrueCar which was the only saving grace of the whole situation. David and Jason were very unprofessional, don't return phone calls and will make up excuse after excuse if you are luck enough to actually get ahold of them. It took 10 days to take delivery of our car after we made our deal and signed paperwork. I called first thing on a Saturday before they had any appointments for delivery and they still told me they were "very busy on Saturday's and would not be able to fit us in." This was after a week of promises that "the car will be here tomorrow." Unreal! DO NOT PURCHASE HERE. Once it came time to actually deliver the vehicle, David handed us the owners book and keys and DID NOT offer to go over any of the features of the car!!! Great customer service Jay Wolfe...Our neighbors purchased the same vehicle using TrueCar at another Toyota dealership in town and had no problems. Save yourself and don't visit Jay Wolfe! More
We drove 5 hours to take a look at a used 2010 Highlander. When we got there, as scheduled, the vehicle was not clean, and not at all what I would call show ready. The Highlander had been on their Highlander. When we got there, as scheduled, the vehicle was not clean, and not at all what I would call show ready. The Highlander had been on their lot over 60 days, and they didn't seem to want to get rid of it. They hadn't fixed the blemishes throughout the vehicle. The tires had little tread on it, and the salesman was not fun to work with. We never even met his superior. On top of that he insulted us, telling me that my current vehicle was only worth $200 scrap. However, We did come out on the better end. After leaving, very disappointed in our experience at Jay Wolfe. We made it to another dealership who had a remarkably clean vehicle, decent tires, and they were not just willing, but WANTING to make a deal. We love our new Highlander, and were very pleased with the respect that we received at Seeger Toyota! We would be willing to drive 5 hours to meet Ray Berry at Seeger Toyota again. More
I made an appointment with the West county Toyota Dealer so they could run a diagnostic test. My 4runner was sputtering when I would accelerate and I wanted to get the issue fixed. I had already taken it to so they could run a diagnostic test. My 4runner was sputtering when I would accelerate and I wanted to get the issue fixed. I had already taken it to another mechanic who told me he believed my oxygen sensor needed to be replaced, but I thought I'd get a second opinion from the dealer, since they should know their own cars best. When I brought it in for the appointment, I described the problem to the service adviser Jeff Meagher and I specifically asked him to check out the oxygen sensor as well. After waiting about 45 minutes, Mr. Meagher told me they checked out my car and it was only my spark plugs and wires at needed to be replaced. I then asked him right then and there " and so the oxygen sensor is fine?" he replied " yes, all your sensors are fine". They told me it would cost over $400 to repair my spark plugs and wires, which I knew was way over priced but I let them do it anyway, because I trusted they would do the best job in repairing my car. They completed the work and I paid. But less than 48 hours later my check engine light turned on. I called the, right away and they told me to bring it in that afternoon, because it was possible they fixed the wrong thing, which is not something you want to hear from the people who just repaired your car for over $400. So I brought it in that afternoon after work and dropped it off. The service adviser Andrew Duncan called me an hour later and told me the problem was MY OXYGEN SENSOR. Mr. Duncan said it would cost me almost $500 to fix this issue. I explained to him that I had specifically asked them the time before to check out my oxygen sensor and they told me it was fine. He said there was nothing more they would do unless I paid again. I refused and told them to just return my car to me. I am extremely unsatisfied and will never go back nor recommend to anyone to go to them, unless they resolve this issue More
We had a great experience from this dealership. Luke is a great salesman who is very patient and professional. He is very candid and taught us a lot regarding finding a reasonable deal. I will recommend him and Jay Wolfe to my friends. More
$2100.00 bill from Jay Wolfe Toyota for water pump discounted to $1950.00 (big of them) for my 2003 Toyota Highlander. This seemed extremely high to me, so I decided to take it to another Toyota deal discounted to $1950.00 (big of them) for my 2003 Toyota Highlander. This seemed extremely high to me, so I decided to take it to another Toyota dealer. Imagine my shock when their bill was $950.oo! I didn't tell Lou fusz what Wolfe had estimated, just asked them to check out the car and gave them the same symptonms I had given Wolfe. When their estimate called for a water pump and timing belt and others belts replaced, I asked about the coolant crossover leak reported by Wolfe, they said I din't have a leak there! Obviously a total ripp off from Wolfe Toyota! Beware! More
Very friendly and they really take great care of the cars before selling them. After getting horrible customer service at a different auto dealer, our experience with Luke was a breath of fresh air. This before selling them. After getting horrible customer service at a different auto dealer, our experience with Luke was a breath of fresh air. This is what the experience of looking for a car should be like. Luke found my mother-in-law and I wandering around the lot and asked if he could help us out. We told him what we were looking for and our price range and he invited us inside to sit down and look over his list. He introduced himself and was very friendly and professional. We don't have a lot of money to spend and are interested in lower priced cars yet he wasn't perturbed or rude at all. He showed us several cars and let us test drive one. He spent probably a good hour with us even though he knew we weren't going to buy anything today. When we do figure out what we want, we will try to give him our business. Plus, this dealership really details their cars before selling them and goes over them with a fine-toothed comb. Everything looked great in the lot. I would highly recommend Jay Wolfe Toyota and especially Luke! More
