Price - I'm not sure why the dealership always charges so much more than the average mechanic for routine services like oil changes. I think this is the best Toyota service department in Eastern Missouri. I did not have fog the lights on the Toyota when I bought it and I wanted them added on. I had done the same thing with other Toyotas that I've owned in the past and this dealership did the work on both of my cars. The price was just what they told me it would be, the work was perfect, and was finished on time. I use this dealership for everything with my Toyotas. the other thing that I feel is important is they always check to see if there are any service bulletins from Toyota about my car. Service Department did not complete all the work billed!! I have been a customer for 6 years, but I after a regular maintenance I discovered some of the items I was billed for not completed. When I brought I have been a customer for 6 years, but I after a regular maintenance I discovered some of the items I was billed for not completed. When I brought this to their attention they at first denied it and then when they checked for themselves they grudgingly admitted the work was not done. Their overall response was not to look for ways to satisfy my complaint, but instead to try to make me feel like I was the problem. While they acknowledged the failure they were unwilling to take ownership of the problem and did not seek to make me a happy customer. Needless to say this discovery was a breach trust and when it comes to something like car maintenance you cannot deal with people who are dishonest. More
My husband and I were looking to buy a minivan after our second child was born. We're in graduate school, so we knew we needed an affordable van but also a reliable one. Someone recommended we look into Toyota Sienna and the search began. I was looking on Kelly Blue Book and Jay Wolfe came up with a 2001 Toyota Sienna for sale. We did a lot of research about reliability and reviews of the dealership. We contacted Alex Gentile, one of the Online Sales reps, asking for more information. He sent us a link to the Carfax report and pictures as well as mileage, and VIN details. We contacted them on a Friday, but knew we couldn't go to the dealership before the next Tuesday. Then grad school got in the way, so we called and rescheduled for Thursday. It was Alex's day off, but he said he would send our information to someone at the dealership. Nathan, the Online Manager, was very friendly, professional, and helpful. My husband test drove the van. He and I discussed whether or not this was the vehicle we really wanted, and we decided that if we could negotiate the price, we'd buy it on the spot. We were able to negotiate a price that they could agree to and that was within our budget. The paperwork took awhile, much longer than we though it would, but at the end of 3 hours we had our van. I took my vehicle to this dealership to have a simple oil change performed. They did not perform the service at the price I was quoted on the phone nor did they use the oil that I made sure to tell them twic change performed. They are also extremely pushy, trying to sell you services that your vehicle does not need. Their services are extremely overpriced. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for all future service that needs to be performed. More
I had such an amazing experience at Jay Wolfe, considering the only reason I was needing a new car was that I totaled mine, (which was paid off). So needless to say I was less than thrilled to the extra expense. I started shopping online, and made a few phone calls and appts., one of which was with Eric at Jay Wolfe. I gave him very basic information of what I was looking for and my budget, and when I walked in he was completely prepared and professional. He listen to everything I had said and wanted and answered every question I had, so much so that I bought the first out of the three cars he had picked out for me to consider. I never had that feeling of "being taken for a ride", or being upsold on something I didn't want or couldn't afford. Then when I went to financing and met with Tyler he also was completely prepared and knew his information quite well. I thought I knew enough about car warranties, and had my low opinions of then, and had NO intention of buying into one. However he quickly changed my mind. After being given all the facts and seeing the cost difference, I truly felt as if I was leaving there with a better deal than what Toyota was making. No other dealer I had went to even came close to the level of professionalism and respect I received from those two gentleman. I can't see myself ever buying from anywhere else. Two thumbs up! More
Went to get a Toyota Camry last week to Jay Wolfe (Ballwin). Had an awsome experience with the sales department over there. Especially Alex from the sales helped me a lot to get me a fair deal. Most important is the after sales service which is also too gud. They did a perfect detailing of the car and got rid of all the scratches n stains the car had.
