Awesome! I just purchased (at 66) my first Toyota, a 2016 Corolla. I was nervous about finding a dealer and although I live in Belleville, Il after reading many dealership reviews I chose Jay Wolfe. First, the dealership is spotless and the waiting room is extremely comfortable and customer friendly. My first service experience was awesome. Kyle could not have been nicer or more professional. He wedged me in and got me out exactly when promised as I was waiting for my vehicle. Further, he set up an appointment for a recall and an alignment next week. It was a great start to my first 'Toyota' experience and if this fantastic visit is any indication this certainly won't be my last Toyota! More
I have been a loyal customer at Jay Wolfe Toyota of West County for over 15 years. The sales department has provided me three new cars over the years while the service department has serviced five of my veh County for over 15 years. I owe my loyalty to two people...Scott Dickherber and Jason Theis. I could literally write a book about the positive experiences I have had with Scott and Jason. I would follow these guys anywhere! Probably the most sleaziest car dealership I’ve ever went to. If I could give them no stars I would. I’m not sure how the car buying experience is with them with new cars, but with used cars I would never re to. If I could give them no stars I would. They completely judged us right off the bat and beat around the bush the entire time. My main concern is how bad they just screwed us over on financing through Toyota themselves. Our deal on the vehicle came out to 38,000. We got approved through our own credit union. The “fianance Manager” Omar lied straight to our faces about what interest rate our credit union approved us for (our bank just called us today and told us what we actually got approved for) instead they gave us a higher interest rate when we could’ve had a lower interest rate thought our credit union and tell me why we paid $8000 down To them to only finance $30,000 but for some odd reason our loan is still at $38,000. My credit union said they probably financed us for the full price and took our down payment and just threw it towards the loan as a payment, told us to look at our paperwork and low and behold they were right. That is the most sleaziest experience I’ve ever had to deal with. My payments and interest rate could’ve been lower but instead they wanted our loan through Toyota so bad they decided to just screw us. Also Omar argued with me to buy an extended warranty on this vehicle (which has allllll aftermarket parts) after asking him if it covered aftermarket parts he informed me no warranty covers aftermarket parts and acted surprised when I told him that’s why I didn’t want it. I managed a customer service department for warranties before. Not only that he told us that the gap insurance was not negotiable and charged us $850! My credit union is able to give it to me for $450. I’m going to post on every review page I can about this dealership. PLEASE do not waste your time and money with them. More
The first thing we loved about Toyota was our salesman Mark Pardee. He was incredibly patient and helpful and did not push or rush us to make a decision. Very time consuming I pulled in and no one was there, so I got out of my car and went to the service desks. No one looked up, there was no line, so I stood around and wai I pulled in and no one was there, so I got out of my car and went to the service desks. No one looked up, there was no line, so I stood around and waited for 5 minutes. In the mean time I noticed someone got in my car and moved it out of the receiving bay. Finally one of the four people looked up and asked if they could help me, I gave them my name, then they had me wait for someone else. This was a process that gave no instructions to the customer how to proceed. It seemed very organized, but the organization was kept a secret from the customer. It also took over an hour to do an oil change by appointment. More
