Did Not Honor Email Quotes Very frustrating experience. Went into dealership with email quote for both new car (USAA TrueCar) and trade-in (Trade-in Valet) from the dealership a Very frustrating experience. Went into dealership with email quote for both new car (USAA TrueCar) and trade-in (Trade-in Valet) from the dealership and when we arrived we were told the Trade-in Valet email was in error and they could not honor. Price offered was less than lowest range of trade-in quote ($14K - range quoted was $15.1K-$17.6K which was quoted "This is a guaranteed offer"). We left, went to another dealership down the street and they offered us a check on the spot for the trade-in which was reasonable (and ironically was within Wolfe's Trade-In Valet trade-in range - $15.5K). Great! Went back to the dealership a few days later and said, ok, trade-in is now out of the picture lets move forward with the True-Car discount (note I said discount as any additional options can increase price) . Salesman, Daniel, went off for a while and came back with a discount not matching that of the email on an exactly comparable car (i.e. same options). Now he said the email True-Car discount received from FJ (works for Wolfe) also was in error and they would not honor - difference of about $1500 on a $49K Highlander Limited Platinum. It was even more frustrating that we let Daniel know as soon as we walked in we wanted the TrueCar DISCOUNT quoted from FJ and he let us wait almost an hour while he searched for a car, checked options and quoted us a delivery date before letting us know they would not honor the previously quoted discount. We left frustrated we wasted our time and gave the dealership a second chance. Very bad experience. We really wanted to do business as they were our local Toyota dealership. How can we? More

Service left Dirt and Grease on drivers seat of New Camry. Took new 2017 Camry XLE in for first service at approx 6,000 miles. My first impression was excellent. However when I was told the vehicle was ready Took new 2017 Camry XLE in for first service at approx 6,000 miles. My first impression was excellent. However when I was told the vehicle was ready and I got to the car, I discovered large dirt and grease spots 3-4 inches in size on the seat and back of my light leather drivers seat. Someone would have to be blind not to have noticed it. Did they not use a plastic seat cover on new or other vehicles? I also received a complementary car wash, yet the stains remained on my leather seats. I went back into the dealership and informed them. About 5 minutes later a young fellow came out and I took him to the car. He rubbed and rubbed with the safe cleaner, but the dirt and grease spots remained. He said he needed to get something else. About 5-6 minutes later he came out with a not so clean towel with a strong solvent smell which did take the spots out with some rubbing. I can't believe the service technicians lack of respect for other people's property. How would he like the same treatment. Why did they not use a seat prospector? A day later a was called by a firm asking me to rate the dealer. I was told management of the dealership would call me back shortly. That never happened. What would have been an excellent rating was ruined by.the lack of respect for someone else's property. Technician should be given unpaid time off or fired. ps: My hands were filthy when I got home. Apparently the technician also got the gunk on my steering wheel, gear selector and sun visor. More
