Wrong oil was used on my truck. They used a synthetic instead of the conventional I requested. Then I was given a bill for the synthetic I didn’t ask for. The service man tried to tell me that synthetic instead of the conventional I requested. Then I was given a bill for the synthetic I didn’t ask for. The service man tried to tell me that synthetic has been used the past few times after he told me that it was conventional when I dropped off the truck. If that’s the case they have been using the wrong oil every time. I hope that not doesn’t cause any issues with the engine. I probably won’t bring both vehicles back if this is how the service is performed. I also had a botched alignment and oil spill the past few times I have brought my vehicle there. Work was completed as scheduled, but it always seems so expensive. I recently brought my Toyota Avalon Limited in for an airbag recall repair and a tire rotation. The service writer, Bill, was professional and very knowledgeable. Bill was even able to get me a loaner car to use while my vehicle was being repaired/serviced. When I returned to the service center to pickup my vehicle, Scot (service manager), came out of the office area and personally greeted me. He asked if my expectations were being met and if there was anything else he could do for me. Every encounter with service staff was exceptional. I have always had outstanding experiences at Jay Wolfe service center. I’m not a professional review writer but want to give some very deserving accolades to these gentlemen who do the little extras that make good, GREAT! More
