Appointment was for oil change and state inspection to renew license plates. The employee checking me in confirmed this. When I went to check out an hour later I was told Jay Wolfe did not have the insp renew license plates. The employee checking me in confirmed this. When I went to check out an hour later I was told Jay Wolfe did not have the inspection forms.. I would have to come back for that. I had to keep asking to figure out the inspection had not been done at all and I would have to bring the car back for that. I had to ask if I would have to make another appointment for that and did not really get an answer. I was quite disappointed how the whole thing was handled. I should have been told at the start if not beforehand the inspection could not be done. At least an apology would have been appropriate. I bought the car at Jay Wolfe and have had almost all service done there. I had planned to get my next car there. More
They were busy but I waited a hours or so and they got me finished. The have a nice waiting area with a snack bit that was usually open but with the pandemic they were closed but did have bottled water and c finished. Extended warranty is a joke. Purchased my brand new 4 runner from them. They assured me I needed the extended warranty because it would covers everything from "paint to electrical. " Unfortunately my car, got scratched at a valet on vacation. I was very upset. I did feel better knowing I had paid for my extended warranty that was going to ",take care of it and provide me with a rental." Guess what???? NOT COVERED. They have have gone back and forth with the valet company to see what they will pay for. This has gone on for almost 2 weeks WHILE MY CAR IS SITTING AT THE DEALER. I am driving my old car, while making payments on my new car. My daughter graduates Saturday in Columbia. I have to drive my old car, because they still aren't done with it. THEY DON'T CARE. I spent $50000 on car and their extended warranty covers nothing. Go somewhere else. More
