Bad experience with prepaid service contract This is my 4th new Acura SUV and nobody ever told me I needed to change the differential fluid at 15,000 miles for a ridiculous cost of $99.95. On to This is my 4th new Acura SUV and nobody ever told me I needed to change the differential fluid at 15,000 miles for a ridiculous cost of $99.95. On top of that, I purchased the prepaid service contract when I bought the RDX Technology and if it was required to change the differential fluid at 15,000 miles then why in the world was that not covered? The service advisor said “normal,wear and tear”” - are you kidding me? In addition, he said the wiper blades need to be replaced, the 75,000,mile MDX that I traded in had 75,000 miles and the original wiper blades!. In the past couple of decades, I have purchased 4 new Acura SUVs, 7 new LexusbLSmmodels and 9, Porsches and not a single one needed the differential fluid changed at ANY mileage.. I think the Hendrick ownership group is dedicated to pry every penny out of every customer.. RDX in the showroom had some $9,000 in dealer add on including a $1,300 running board that I paid $650 for on my 2016 RDX plus the ugliest set of 19” wheels I have ever seen for $2,900 and of course, the worthless (according to Consumer Reports) charge for nitrogen in your tires - come on guys, you know that is a rip off! On top of all that I specifically asked to have my inside windows clean and if there was an Olympic event for the worst, smeared and fogged over windows, you would have won the gold, silver and bronze medals. More
