I was greeted by several different staff members and Hank Mertens had the car ready for a test drive in short order. The RDX was as advertised. I drove the car home for an extended test drive. I came back in on Monday and with a minimum of negotiation agreed on my trade-in and price for purchase. I especially liked Hank taking the time to show me around the different departments in the dealership while waiting to finish up with Josh Gurney. Hank then took me to the RDX, explained a couple features on the car and got my phone all set up with Bluetooth. All in all.....Great ! More

Certified?....Please. Misrepresented. Purchased a Certified 2015 Acura TLX AWD at the end of the year. It was getting dark out and car was a little dirty as salesman, Norm, claimed it jus Purchased a Certified 2015 Acura TLX AWD at the end of the year. It was getting dark out and car was a little dirty as salesman, Norm, claimed it just hadn't gone through detail yet, but had just gone through the certification process. Of course Norm pushed the "this deal is only good today" garbage to get the sale at the end of the year. Trusting the service/inspection dept did their job and Acura's oversight of the certification process, we proceeded to trust the process and decided to purchase. When I arrived to pick the car up I witnessed the rear bumper had been hit and spider cracking throughout the paint and the bumper was slightly distorted. The previous dirt easily covered the damage. Steve (not listed below in employees worked with), used car manager, without question wrote up a "we owe you" and said they would repair the bumper at a later date. I took the car home feeling uneasy about the purchase. While at home, I noticed the RF tire had a bubble/knot in the sidewall. This is indicative of an impact or a "curb check". This should have been caught during the inspection process. Upon closer inspection, it showed dry rot around the bubble indicating it had been there for some time. These are dangerous as the integrity of the tire had been comprised. I called about five times that day and sent an e-mail to request Steve or Norm call me back and I got ZERO return calls from either. I decided to do a complete and thorough inspection as my trust in the "certification" was gone. Low and behold...I discovered ANOTHER IMPACT that was poorly repaired and not disclosed on the right rear quarter panel! Unsanded body filler (i.e. bondo), poor buffing, dirt in the paint, an easy to distinguish paint line in the door, and dripping clear coat were the tell-tale signs of repair. Remember, this car was "certified" by an Acura factory trained technician. After several hours they still had not called me back so I proceeded to demand to talk to someone. Brian Tucci, the new car sales manager, took on the matter after a request from Steve. (Even after visiting the store again and seeing Steve, he completely ignored me). After lengthy discussion about the car, Brian said they would provide me a new bumper, repair the previous damage to the quarter panel, replace the tire, polish and buff the car, remove the door dings I also discovered, and repair the curb rash on the wheels. At this point my confidence in the dealership doing anything correctly was near the floor. My wife and I decided we wanted to return the vehicle instead of repair it but the dealership claimed that was impossible, but instead I could "exchange" the vehicle for something else they had on the lot and pay the difference after they "worked the numbers". They had nothing else similar to the one we had purchased and had no interest in what they had. We found an '18 TLX at their Honda dealer a block away but they said we had to 'deal with them' and they couldn't do anything for us. I called the Honda dealer and set a time to look at the car. About an hour later I received a call saying that they had transferred the vehicle between dealers and I could come look at it. (Funny how that works). We looked at it and decided it would be something we would fine with. Brian "worked numbers" and it ended up costing us $8,700 more. The kicker is they charged the $199 fee admin again! They also refused to certify the car without us paying an additional $1,800 (I really only wanted the additional 12k/12mos warranty). I don't feel we got a good deal and we were taken advantage of. I realize no one held a gun to us but at this point we wanted the experience to be over, our trust was gone for the first car, and we just needed to get away from the first car we purchased. To top it off, they relisted the 2015 TLX we originally purchased...listed it as a 1 owner, no accident car! LOL. On the carfax it says they "serviced" the car upon its return to their dealership...likely repairing the bumper/quarter panel/tire to avoid it showing an accident(s) on paper. Sketchy! Sketchy! While Brian was nice and responsive, it was not an overall pleasurable experience and our trust in the dealership does not exist. I will not return to the dealership for parts or service. More
