Customer Beware! I was quoted a price by the manager for a new Ridgeline. He refused to let me take his estimate to decide. When I went back in the estimate was 3,000 higher. The salesman had been fired, so they must have deleted his information from the computer. The new manager, was so inappropriate, condescending and literally said I was lying. When i made the purchase, i traded in a vehicle that was financed through a bank. I received a call over a month later, that my trade in was not paid for by Jay Honda. When contacting Jay Honda, i was told they mistakenly did not pay for the vehicle. In his condescending tone, Major told me it was a mistake, everyone makes mistakes. I am now facing a mark on my credit rating for a late payment. The whole experience has been a nightmare. I had to call Major about a problem I was having with the car, and I called him from my cell phone at another dealership. One of the other Honda dealers were appalled at the way I was spoken to, from the management staff at Jay Honda. His comment was, does he always talk to you that way.....Wow...he was appalled. He even told his manager about the interaction. Poor customer service, follow up. thanks More
Exceptional CRV Buying Experience! I've been either buying or helping friends and family buy cars for quite some time now. Buying a vehicle can be a time consuming and somewhat dauntin I've been either buying or helping friends and family buy cars for quite some time now. Buying a vehicle can be a time consuming and somewhat daunting task from start to finish. I recently visited Ohio to assist my mother on her quest to buy a CRV. A week before landing in Columbus, I shotgunned out a flurry of emails trying to begin working with local dealers as time would be very limited. I was saddened to see that almost all the local dealerships in central Ohio had sub-par internet sales teams. One morning after increasing the search area, we came upon "the one", a certified used CRV with super low mileage and mom's desired color at Jay Honda! The email exchanges that morning were not only timely and professional, but also to the point. The internet sales team even provided additional pictures of all four wheels per our request. After a brief chat with Mr. Raymond Shell (Manager), we were able to agree that deal would be possible. Being two hours away from Jay Honda it was important to have trust and confidence with the dealership which was achieved via the positive interactions through email and phone chats. Once at the dealership my mother and I were promptly greeted and assisted by Ms. Maura McGough (Sales Associate). She was very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable on the CRV that my mother was interested in. Ms. McGough was able to answer all our questions about the CRV and even provide some additional insight on other CRV features that we were unaware of during our in depth test drive. Before you knew it we were back sitting at her desk sipping some tasty hot chocolate (it was super cold out!). We had one request that Ms. McGough relayed back to Mr. Shell and in return they provided a very accommodating course of action. We were able to get in and out of finance rather quickly without any issues! Ms. McGough provided an exceptional customer experience during our visit to Jay Honda. Her superb support didn't end after we walked out the door that day, there were a couple of occasions where my mother had a couple questions that I routed to Ms. McGough via text and email. It didn't matter if it was her day off or she was at lunch, she would promptly text and email back the information we needed! It seemed at times my mother and I were her only customers getting that dedicated and prompt support, however, we all know that was not the case! It is evident she can facilitate and multitask at a very high level. At the end of the day, the customer service was well over and beyond any and all expectations. If you haven't figured it out yet, it was well worth the 4 hour round trip to buy a CRV at Jay Honda. All facets of our transaction were phenomenal, not to mention the continued customer service afterward! Thanks Jay Honda! More

Very Bad experience Purchasing the vehicle was smooth. But after having the car just for 3 weeks the check engine light was turned on the Dashboard. I took the car to Jay Purchasing the vehicle was smooth. But after having the car just for 3 weeks the check engine light was turned on the Dashboard. I took the car to Jay Honda. They told that it was due to spark plug and told me that detailing part was not done properly. It is completely unusual to happen like this for a 2017 model CPO car. I took the car back home and immediately the next day, the check engine was again displaying on the dashboard. I took the car again to Jay Honda. They told the same problem again. I dont know why they did not the find the problem for the first time. Overall it was very bad experience with Jay Honda. More
Awful experience From start to finish buying a car at Jay Honda was a disaster. First off, I told my salesman I wanted a car with heated seats. I purchased the car, only to find out there were no heated seats. Called them repeatedly, they finally agreed it was their mistake, they tried to get me to pay a portion,, but then so they would pay for after market seats. Then the finance Manager hastily goes over my purchase agreement only to find out later he added an extend warranty without even asking me. Confronted him about it, he was very rude and unprofessional. He said he will take it off. Finally I received a letter for an airbag recall on my car , so I make an appointment, show up there, only to find out, the recall was already done, but they forgot to call me and let me know, wasting my time once again. More

The reason I just purchased a 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L at Jay Honda. This marked the seventh vehicle that I've purchased from this dealership since 2007. The reason that I keep coming back and am so loyal is the world class treatment that I keep getting here. Rob Logan and Tony Spitalieri ALWAYS do right by me. They are easy to deal with, respectful and very knowledgeable about the vehicles that they sell. I got a great price and great value for my trade-in. No reason to ever shop anywhere else. More

When some unforeseen circumstances required that I amend my lease, the team at Jay were incredibly transparent and helpful in getting the situation handled in a timely manner. My sales team, Tony and Rob, were excellent, both professional and understanding of my needs. Ira, in finance, smoothed out any and all wrinkles along the way to me driving off in a brand new car. I'd highly recommend Jay Honda, not only for the known quality of the vehicles they provide, but also for the outstanding service provided by the staff. More

Highly professional salesman in how he acting and honesty. He was genuine and not pushy. As far as finance I feel let down by the unprofessionalism by the gentleman I felt with. He made it very clear customers and customer service was not a single priority to him. It was more of what’s in it for me and I really was rubbed the wrong way in regards to the absolute disgrace of finance to act this way. The gentleman in finance needs to understand customer service and valuing customers is the reason you have a job! So please get better on the backend team w/ training or finding people who are well rounded and truly care about customers. More
