They got me in there on an Internet price, told me over the phone they'd talk price if we came in, then wouldn't come off it a dime. Told us "we have to pay the light bill somehow." Whatever. If you're going to do that just be up front and say we don't negotiate, all prices are fixed. When I called him on it he became rude and condescending. The owner was supposed to call me because he heard I was upset. Never did. They lost a sale and a customer. More

Very unsatisfied with staff and how I was treated Recently purchased a vehicle from Bill Boruff dealership in Sparta,TN. After I bought the vehicle within 24 hrs of the purchase I found out the vehic Recently purchased a vehicle from Bill Boruff dealership in Sparta,TN. After I bought the vehicle within 24 hrs of the purchase I found out the vehicle was not serviced properly and had several fault codes keep coming up. I tried to contact the sales manager, Jerry, which I never got a call back from so I called the general manager which was argumentive with the problems the vehicle had and extremely rude. This is after taking the vehicle to get looked at by 3 separate mechanics which all found the same problem and after calling back to the dealership they just bad mouthed the mechanics I took it to which one was an immediate family member. After you are out the door I wouldn't count on going back for anything because they're care level goes to 0 once you walk out the door. Being a former veteran and ex military member I would not recommend my worse enemy to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I will not ever go back or recommend anyone to this dealership. More

So the next day I call and make sure it's there before making the trip and Gary says its there. Needless to say upon arrival it's not there. The other dealership is only an hour away they don't offer to go get it they just say sorry so I wasted 5 hours and gas for nothing. More
Charged me $22,900 for a vehicle that was listed at $19,674 On 26 Oct 15 I drove from Nashville, TN to Bill Boruff Ram SuperCenter in Sparta, TN to view and hopefully purchase a the above vehicle I saw listed o On 26 Oct 15 I drove from Nashville, TN to Bill Boruff Ram SuperCenter in Sparta, TN to view and hopefully purchase a the above vehicle I saw listed online for sale for $19,674. I had a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 that was paid off for a trade in. I decided to purchase the vehicle, and went through the negotiation process with salesman Clarence Lynn Jared. I specifically asked Lynn how much they were giving me for my trade in and he stated, "between $5-6,000." The price of the vehicle he had written down was the internet listed price of $19,674. I asked him if there was any lower price and he said that was the internet special. I left it at that and agreed on the price. I filled out the paperwork with the Finance Manager Billy Lee. Nothing was said to me about the price of the vehicle being different than what was listed online, or about the amount I would be given for my trade in. That evening when I got home to Ashland City, TN I was looking at the paperwork and realized they only gave me $4,000 for my trade in - well below the blue book value of $4,581-6,060. I contacted Lynn the next day to ask him about this and was told that he didn't look at the numbers, and he doesn't deal with prices. As I had no physical proof I decided to leave that issue alone. I was going over my paperwork again on the 28th of October to try to figure out why I still owed way more than the agreed purchase price of $19,674, even though I had a trade in of $4,000 and a down payment of $1,500. I realized they charged me $22,900 for the vehicle before taxes, fees, and an extended warranty. I called the dealership on the 29th to find out why, and talked to someone who said they would return my call later. I never got a response so I called back on the 30th and was finally connected with Billy Lee. He told me that the listing of $19,674 must have been a mistake, even though it was listed on their website, car guru, best ride, and other sites for that price. He then contradicted himself by saying that $2,000 (I am assuming for the extended warranty) was added onto that price because there is no place to add it on the paperwork which is why it was now $22,900. However, there is already a spot on the receipt where $2,000 is added, so his excuse is incorrect. It is apparent that they chose not to honor the listed price, and that they cheated me. That is a discrepancy of $3,226 between what the listed price of the vehicle was versus what I was charged. I feel this is a violation of 2010 TN Code 39-14-127(a)(5), 47-18-104(a), and 47-18-104(b)(a)(9), amongst others. I have screenshots on my phone from best ride with the price of $19,674, and I also have a screenshot of the google search listing with their website showing the same price and VIN of the vehicle. Their website also stated something to the effect of the vehicle being thoroughly looked over by their mechanic, but the front differential is shot and needs to be replaced (about $2500), the front window washer doesn't spray, the right front turn signal doesn't work because a 3" section of wire has been cut from it to the fuse box, and at least 2 fuses were missing causing the AUX ports to not work.
