A Lesson Learned, Never Again After years of sticking with the same dealership and spending an incredible amount of money there, our entire family and some friends have officially After years of sticking with the same dealership and spending an incredible amount of money there, our entire family and some friends have officially decided to no longer do any business with Janssen Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram of North Platte, Nebraska with reasons being the amount of disrespect we were shown and the fact that we were not given the true amount of money that our vehicle was worth at the time of trade. It was brought to the GM’s attention before purchasing our last and final vehicle there and was shown to him and our salesman in black and white; sadly neither the GM nor our salesman cared. When you’ve spent the money that our family has at Janssen’s in sticking with and purchasing vehicles from only them and never ever going anywhere else it’s very disheartening to see how their true colors come to light. If Dan Janssen and his family were to look into their North Platte dealership with open eyes they would be appalled. My family and I will never again do business there. More

I've had an aunt and uncle who have bought more than their share of vehicles at Janssens in North Platte, NE and I've also had my other two uncles who have bought vehicles there as well as a few of my cousins and two good friends, so thinking this was a good idea to try out this dealership and buy a vehicle I decided to shop there and see what kind of deal they would make on a 2015 Limited 1500 Ram. I should have been smart enough to realize that if this dealership this year was no longer going to work with any of my family members who have been clients for years at Janssens and tried again working with this dealership with no luck, I should have been smart enough to listen to my cousins and my uncles when they said, "don't bother trying, they'll try to screw you out of your vehicle when you go to trade it" but I'm one of these guys who has to do their own thing and then listen. So in fairness not going by what family had said and even a couple of friends, I tried to deal with a xxxxxxx named Terry and another xxxxxxx named Joe, these xxxxxx wanted to screw me literally out of $12,932.22 on my trade by saying the value of my 2014 limited ram with only 8239 miles on it wasn't worth that much in their book even though their ain't a xxxx thing wrong with my truck no scratches nothin, and you know they're screwing you over when a different dealership that goes by black book estimates your value a xxxx of a lot higher for a trade than these jerks did here. Even the kbb and the nada guidelines had a higher value than what these xxxxxx were willing to do on a trade for a newer 1500 Limited Ram. They weren't worth the four plus hours spent there looking at their vehicles and trying to decifer what I could order in if they gave me a fair deal. All I gotta say is don't waste your breath or your time with Janssen's as this dealership seems to only care about profit and not about potential new customers or old ones. Go somewhere else people, save yourself a headache or two. More

Terrible Terrible Customer Service! Bought a new 2014 Ram 2500. Good price. Delivered to my house. But that's where the good ended. 3 weeks after I bought it I finally received the title Bought a new 2014 Ram 2500. Good price. Delivered to my house. But that's where the good ended. 3 weeks after I bought it I finally received the title in the mail. I took it to the DMV to register it and come to find out the title had not been filled out correctly so the pickup could not be registered. I sent the title back to Janssen Chrysler and was assured it would be back in my hands before the in-transits expired. Well that didn't happen. Here it is Friday evening, I have no title and my in-transits expire on Sunday. The pickup will be illegal to drive come Monday. I called Terry the manager and asked him what they were gonna do to fix this and he said "nothing". I would just have to drive illegally. He was very rude and unprofessional about it. I asked for a dealer plate or a loaner car and he said not possible. That is absolute B.S.!! It was their fault the title was not filled out correctly. This is the second vehicle I have bought from Janssen and IT WILL MOST CERTAINLY BE THE LAST!! Avoid Janssen Chrysler in North Platte, Ne at all costs!! More

With the recent GM recalls, which had my husband and I very concerned, especially with me being pregnant, we decided to trade our new Chevrolet vehicle in for a new Dodge Durango, and decided to give Jans very concerned, especially with me being pregnant, we decided to trade our new Chevrolet vehicle in for a new Dodge Durango, and decided to give Janssen Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram another chance to see if they would redeem themselves after our past horrible experience there, and this time around they did. This time around they were very respectable and easy to work with and showed enthusiasm. We may not have gotten what we wanted out of our trade, but just to know that we won't have to worry any longer about our other vehicle was definitely a relief on ours and both sets of parents minds. Plus I feel much better about having our baby when she is born riding in this vehicle. So much safer! More
