Customer Service in the Service Department and the management are horrible. They make up stories of why your vehicle was not ready, they try to talk down to you. Excellent service department extremely helpful staff. Job was completed when they said it would be and for the price discussed. I was very happy with Jannell Ford. New Expedition & Service We recently purchased a new Expedition and experienced some issues with wifi and satellite connectivity. With less than 1000 miles on the car, Dave Smith in the Service Dept. analyzed the problem, ordered a new part, contacted us when the part arrived and reworked the system so that it now works perfectly. And, I might add, the "repair work" was completed at absolutely no cost to us. From Sales to Service, this is a top notch dealership. I would highly recommend Jannell to any prospective purchaser! Staff is rude not helpful at all My vehicle has been at Jannell Ford for more recalls. Last recall i had they said it was fine and now my check engine light is on and it's the same i My vehicle has been at Jannell Ford for more recalls. Service repair beware While I had a great experience with buying my ford at Jannell I did not expect the experience with the service dept. Unfortunately after spending 2+ m While I had a great experience with buying my ford at Jannell I did not expect the experience with the service dept. Unfortunately after spending 2+ months there and over $8K our truck was still in bad shape. Yes, its an older truck and yes things do start to go but after that long and that much I expected to go longer than a week before it sounded like the truck was going to fall apart around us. We brought the truck in for a transmission issue and were told it wasn't that, that the manifolds and laundry list of things needed to be done. We said ok, after those repairs were done ($7K) the same noise was still happening. They stood by the work and I fought with them to fix the transmission, which they did but then left us with a new transmission issue. We brought the truck back and spent another month and $1k (thankfully Shawn worked with us) and they ended up putting in a used transmission instead of all the parts they replaced originally. After a week the truck was making a new noise and we chose not the bring it back again. While the manager Shawn did what he could to work with us, and in the end helped us repair the new issue it came out with I still feel that people need to be aware of this experience. It took me asking for a manager and and texting with him almost every day for a month to get the work done. More

Safety Recall I had a fuel leak and brought it to a Sullivan Tires near my work. Later that day, at home, I checked my mail and had a letter from Ford about a Safet I had a fuel leak and brought it to a Sullivan Tires near my work. Later that day, at home, I checked my mail and had a letter from Ford about a Safety Recall for said Fuel Leak. I called Jannell Ford in Hanover and spoke to Shawn who convinced me to bring it there for financial reimbursement reasons and also because he said it would be fixed next day. I settled my debt with Sullivan and had them but the receipt for the work in my vehicle. The next day I received a message from another sales manager, Rich, saying that they didn't infact have the part for my car. He said it wouldn't be until the first week/maybe second of February until my car would be ready to service. However, he said that my car was SAFE to drive. I was completely appalled to hear that. I call back and he reitterates to me about the part not being in- he apologizes for the miss-information I received but ensured me was car was safe to drive. I told him that wasn't the case. I had fuel in front of my house, a distinct smell, and the diagnostic test from Sullivan stating I had a massive leak. He said he would try to get me a rental the next day and seemed very negative about being able to get that done. Thankfully, he did call the next day and said that they got randomly got one part in and my car would be done. Later that day I received a message saying it was. My biggest issue is that I was told my vehicle was safe to drive on a safety recall. A recall issue that was obviously happened to my car. Sullivan's diagnostic report was in the car saying I had a massive fuel leak. I'm glad my car is fixed but thought the whole situation could of been handled better. More
