On May 2nd, I brought my wife's car for service with a growling in the fron end and a problem with the passenger door latch not working. The wheel bearing/hub was replaced in about an hour and was back on growling in the fron end and a problem with the passenger door latch not working. The latch had to be ordered and when I went back to have the latch installed and asked if they could also check a sync problem I was having. After leaving, I noticed that the sync problem was still there and I called the service dept. and was informed that I could come in any time and they would look at it immediately (Roger Paim, Service Mgr). About a week later I stopped by and a service Tech came right out to my vehicle (Gregg). He had everthing working just fine in less than 10 minutes. To many times the Service Department of any dealership never receives any praise for a job well done. I would reccomend Jannell to my friends. Thanks for a job well done. More
I called Jannell because my local mechanic couldn't find the problem with my car. As I explained what was going on to Jeremy in service, he gave me multiple suggestions for my mechanic to try. I've used them for service before and they have always been fair when I'm sure they could have taken advantage of the fact that I no ZERO about cars. I was visiting from out of state and had a problem with my 2010 Ford F-250's brakes. On a Saturday Morning, about 11:30am, Adam got me right in and out again in less than an hour! I brought my F150 in for service on Friday,(55,000 mile xx.)I needed an oil change and had a problem with heat adjustment control,plus an annoying rubbing sound coming from somwhere under the bed.I was hop xx.)I needed an oil change and had a problem with heat adjustment control,plus an annoying rubbing sound coming from somwhere under the bed.I was hoping for an easy service call but while having breakfast at Friendly's I received a call from Adam informing me that my Truck needed,not only an oil change but on further inspection they found a leaking rear pinion seal and the front breaks were gone.So was my budget!I got back to the Dealership explaning to Adam that I would have to make another appointment as I had to be somewhere else.Thats when my wife and I met Charlie the shuttle driver who while plesantly discussing lifes trivialities drove us home,offering to pick us up when my truck was ready.Upon return I was expecting a rather large service bill but was suprised that Adam had checked my extended warranty and found that the pinion seal was covered N/C, the xxxx squeek and rubbing from under the bed was an adjustment to the heat shield and exhaust N/C,and by the way he saved me money on the door accuator(cured the heat problem),along with a rebate on the breaks.I bought my F150 from Bill Pellegrini in 08,I have had it serviced only at Jannell since.From sales to service,to Charlie the shuttle driver it has been a pleasant experience. Yes, but I am not happy with the Ford extended warranty we purchased when we bought the used 2005 Ford 500 from this dealer ship. When I arrived home and went on line and found this throttle body problem o we purchased when we bought the used 2005 Ford 500 from this dealer ship. When I arrived home and went on line and found this throttle body problem on the Ford 500 is a chronic problem and Ford has never issued a factory recall on this item. It appears that Ford has gone away from a heated to a non heated throttle body. I don't understand how Ford can get away with not including the throttle body as a engine component. The engine won't run without one. Adam was helpful and saved us, at least for now, on not having to dole out about $900 out of pocket for a new one. They were able to totally clean the current factory installed one, and reprogramed the PCM and TCM . If the problem comes back we're stuck with with a $ 900 repair that should be covered by a Ford factory recall. It is a SAFETY item. I hope a group files a class action suite against Ford like they did with the intake manifolds on the 1996 Crown Victoria. More
