Now I needed a car, but I had a lot of issues with my credit. Two finance managers worked on it, tried their best, and gave up. Then William Roderick, the General Manager, took on this challenge and made it happen. Now I not only have a new car, but also I can build my credit up from the bottom. Truly it is a rarity that a consumer would help a deserving customer to build a credit up, especially in this economy where everybody is so scared. Thank you Bill. Thanks Jannell. More

I recently visited Jannell for a serious condition on my Escape Hybrid (2005). I was charged only one hour of diagnostic labor and when the problem was finally tracked down it was found that the $9000 hybr Escape Hybrid (2005). I was charged only one hour of diagnostic labor and when the problem was finally tracked down it was found that the $9000 hybrid battery had failed. After reporting the problem to Ford and opening a service ticket, I was notified that I was still in the warranty period for the battery by only 20k miles. At this time I waited a short time for Ford to OK the repair and a rental car showed up at the door. I then used this car for the next week or so while the Battery was ordered,shipped and installed. This was extremely important in my case as I am a PC and scanner/printer tech and my job requires I provide my own transportation to each service call. I picked up my Escape and it has been running smoothly for several weeks now. I have been extremely satisfied with my Escape Hybrid experience from day one and I feel like I have been reunited with an old friend as good as new thanks to the competance of Jannells Service Dept. More

However, getting there was painful and took a lot of careful inspection of our documents and standing our ground. The first issue is the negotiation tactics that they use. They’re careful to negotiate based on a monthly payment…not actual vehicle cost. When we tried to confirm specific details of the deal during negotiations, they were intentionally vague…even deceptive. We had a verbal agreement to what payment and term we wanted to be at…but no details of how the deal was structured. The worst part came when we began discussions in the finance department. We kept getting verbal reassurances that the deal was just as we discussed with the salesman and sales manager. We were offered an extended service plan. Initially it would have added about $25/month to our payments. We declined. She then utilized some “discount codes” which magically got this service plan down to $6/month. We agreed to this. However, when we reviewed the sales contract…we found she neglected to tell us that the term of the loan increased from 60 to 63 months. We demanded a revised contract, dumped the service plan and got the deal we initially agreed to. At this point we were annoyed…but we got the deal we needed. To add to the frustration, when we went back a few days later to get our inspection sticker, we were informed that they needed to do an update to the computer system before getting the sticker…and then we’d need to drive it for a few days and come back. This in and of itself is not a big deal. However, you would think that they would have done any updates to the car before they put it on their lot. We did follow through on this purchase with Jannell. However, we will not be using them again for any purchase or service. Unfortunately, they fit all the stereotypical clichés of deceptive used car salespeople. More
Roger Paim was professional, courteous and honest. My truck's sunroof was leaking and it was forecast to rain all day. Roger quickly assessed the fact that the damage wasnt serious and could be easily fixed. He was able to simply push/pull/bend the frame so that the seal was secure and the roof wouldnt leak. This took all of 5 minutes. Roger could have taken advantage of the situation, told me it would take alot of time/money to fix and I would have believed him. Instead he was courteous and honest. He is an asset to Jannell Ford. More

Bought first Navigator 8/97. Lost Hadden Lincoln of Hanover dealership. Went to Sullivan Bros. of Kingston and lost them. I love Navigators but dealerships are very important to me also. Cold called Jannell for warranty help even though I was not a customer. The service was extremely timely and friendly. As I have just informed them they have a new customer. They are great! More
My wife & I inquired about Ford vehicles via the internet & left our contact information to a number of local dealerships. Jannell Ford was the first to ackndowledge our interest & to welcome us to internet & left our contact information to a number of local dealerships. Jannell Ford was the first to ackndowledge our interest & to welcome us to come in for a visit.While driving into the dealership parking lot we passed a young lady (Bethany Murray) who smiled & gave us a friendly wave. We then spoke to Bethany, learning that she worked for Jannell as a sales rep. We knew that we were interested in the Escape, so Bethany showed us a few & we were able to test drive a 4 cylander as well as v-6....Although she was fairly new, she was very knowledgable, and answered all of our questions....Prior to test driving we were also able to meet the sales manager Eddie Clark (Ed was so friendly I felt like I've known him my whole life) We had planned on visiting other dealerships but were so pleased with the way we were treated that we were willing to work out a deal that day. Ed came back with an excellent offer & we had ourselves a deal for a brand new Escape.I had planned on financing through my credit union when Joanne Kiklis who was not going to be out-shined by Bethany & ED convinced me to finance through Ford Credit getting me a better interest rate , actually saving me money...I thought buying a car was supposed to be stressful & aggravating !!! Not at Jannell Ford with people like ED, Bethany, & Joanne working there !!!!!!! Highly Reccommended...... More
