Unlike the other dealerships that wouldn't stop trying to keep me inside, this one in particular had my only thought about leaving - with my new Mazda. It was a very pleasant experience, what made it so special is the employees throughout the whole process. From the salesmen, manager, to the financial manager, great people who you can really talk to and be reassured they had my best interests in mind. I got a GREAT deal, I couldn't be more satisfied. I will definitely be recommending and coming back for my next car! More

I kept seeing all these raving reviews about Deana and thought they had to be overstating how awesome she is. How wrong I was, she’s even more amazing than these reviews state! Of all the dealers and salespeople I’ve dealt with in my 15 years of owning vehicles, no one has ever been as helpful, efficient, or friendly as Deana! She took the time to find my dream vehicle, then once it was delivered she walked through every single option and function in the car, saving me sitting in the dealer lot for a half hour figuring out the tech in my car in the parking lot. If you’re looking for a salesperson who values you as a person and a customer, and listens to what you’re looking for in a car, Deana is who you’re looking for! She was super helpful and has even stayed in touch after the purchase to make sure I knew how to use all of the features. Predatory financing practices Janesville Subaru uses predatory financing practices. In August 2018, my husband and I used Capital One financing through the dealership. We Janesville Subaru uses predatory financing practices. In August 2018, my husband and I used Capital One financing through the dealership. We were told by Janesville Subaru's finance team, Jeff and Jeff, that as a requirement for the loan, Capital One was requiring that we purchase a 2 year extended warranty that would cost $2,000. Because we were rebuilding our credit, we really had no other option as a vehicle was needed to get to and from my new job. We signed and initialed all the financing forms and drove home in the vehicle we needed. Fast forward to March 2019, we are now looking in to refinancing this vehicle. Our credit scores have gone up, and we want to take advantage of a lower interest rate. We called Capital One to ask about how the warranty comes in to play with refinancing. Much to our surprise, we learned that we could cancel the warranty at any time by calling the dealership, and it was NOT a requirement for us to get the loan. When we called Janesville Subaru to speak with Jeff, the finance manager, to cancel the warranty and confront them about having lied and taking advantage of us, he played dumb. He canceled the warranty upon our request and said that there was no way they could refund the entire warranty, because "a warranty is always optional." The extended warranty was verbally presented to us as a requirement for the loan by the finance team at Janesville Subaru multiple times. We truly had no choice; we needed the car to earn income. We had to accept the terms and purchase the warranty. This is predatory. We have now paid interest on the $2,000 warranty for 7 months, which will not be refunded. Also, the $713 for the "used" portion of the warranty (we have not used the warranty for anything) will not be refunded. If we hadn't reached out to Capital One regarding refinancing, we never would have known that we had been lied to and taken advantage of by the finance team at Janesville Subaru. Lesson 1: Read the fine print and always question everything. Lesson 2: Do not finance through Janesville Subaru. More
