I just want to comment that Jonathan, in the service dept, was Most helpful yesterday. I stopped in after the tire pressure warning light came on in my Outback. I saw a nail in the tire and was concerned about driving home. Jonathan looked at the nail, said it was too close to the side to repair, took a measurement and advised I'd have to have a new tire "shaved" to match the wear on the other tires, explained why, and said it would be a few days to get that done. As I don't live in Janesville, he suggested that they could do it there, or I could go to the dealer nearer where I work in Madison. He gave me the info to provide to the Madison dealer, and reassured me it should be fine to drive, just watch the tire pressure. I am VERY impressed with his attitude. Just wanted to give a Kudo's for his help. THANKS! More

I went to buy Subaru Impreza in September 2022 driving long distance from Madison because on the phone they said they have one in stock. When I went there I was told that it was sold, but another one comi long distance from Madison because on the phone they said they have one in stock. When I went there I was told that it was sold, but another one coming soon. I paid a deposit of $500 (deposit receipt did not mention what the deposit was for). Then next week they mentioned that one was sold also and returned me the deposit. They (Skip Bushey and Noel) told me to put a build request in early October and promised verbally that I will get the car by November. Around October 7th, I sent the build order request for a Subaru Impreza Premium to Skip by email that was signed by myself and Noel. At that time he did not mention about deposit. I sent email and tried to call Skip several times about update without any clear response from him. Then in November, he said it will be December before the care arrives. Then in early December when I pressed for the delivery date, he said that he did not order our car. They have some assigned cars coming in January if I am interested. He gave the excuse that we did not pay the deposit, but all the time during email and verbal communication he never mentioned about deposit to me and that my build order was not placed. This dealership is a fraud and caused significant delay, monetary damage and safety concern for me (since the car I had did not have AWD and safety features). Subaru should remove this type of dealers from Subaru business because it also creates a bad impression on Subaru in my mind. I am looking into legal options. Stay away from this dealer. More
Drove to #Janesville Subaru from a few towns away to buy a truck advertised on their site for X amount. Test drove it and everything. I originally posted this review to google, and the domain owner took the review down. Today I visited Janesville Subaru. After walking around for 15 minutes, I was approached by Julie Zucaro. I was looking at a specific vehicle and started asking questions, of which, she had very little knowledge. After I practically walked her through the sale and specs of the vehicle I was interested and very educated in, since I had done my research. I have also wanted a model of this vehicle since I was 16. After providing her with a starting price that I was open to negotiating, and what I was looking for in compensation for my trade-in. She came back with some numbers. I was informed that I was unable to even test drive the car because, "WE ONLY LET SERIOUS BUYERS TEST DRIVE THIS VEHICLE". Which seemed very odd to me since I was offering a down payment and a trade-in of a quality 2011 vehicle. I then asked if she was open to any sort of negotiation and was turned down completely. When asking about the interest rates I was told "we do not discriminate on our interest rates". I proceeded to ask how my credit score would affect the rate and was told again "we do not discriminate on our interest rates". I asked her what she thought my credit score might be and how that would affect my rate, and she informed me that she had no way of knowing "because I am 23 years old". Which I found a little insulting since my credit score is in the mid-upper 700’s. If she would have asked I would’ve been more than happy to tell her this information. I did not know that age mattered in this specific interaction, but I guess it does to Janesville Subaru. After being insulted, I decided to walk away and proceeded to take my business elsewhere. After a short phone call with another dealership, I was able to find the same exact model that I had previously been looking for. I drove there, and was graciously allowed to test drive this vehicle, in which, I also decided to purchase on the spot due to their customer service. Julie, I appreciate your help today. However, I feel a little hurt by the way I was treated. I live in the area, and plan on being here for quite some time. With this being my first vehicle purchase, I was particularly looking to find a reliable dealership that I could continue to do business with as long as I am in the area. I am a little disappointed in Janesville Subaru since it is the closest Subaru dealership to me. I am now more than happy to drive the additional 25 minutes from my location based off the service I received elsewhere. More
They text me about that the showing for the vehicle was available on Friday. We confirmed the visit for Saturday. I text them 75 minutes prior to my arrival and they confirmed "yes we will see you then". A available on Friday. We confirmed the visit for Saturday. I text them 75 minutes prior to my arrival and they confirmed "yes we will see you then". Arrived and spent 10 min at the dealership to be told the vehicle was sold 20 min prior to my arrival. I drove 2 hr 48 min (one way). Had to drive back 2 hr 48 min back home. No return call while on was on the road it was sold. No one apologize about the issue. They even tried to sell me a different vehicle that I was not interested. I would not recommend. Avoid this dealership. More
