Purchased a used Ford from Janesville Subaru. At time of purchase and from discussion with sales staff and recent shop records from Janesville Subaru it was indicated that wiper motor, arms and At time of purchase and from discussion with sales staff and recent shop records from Janesville Subaru it was indicated that wiper motor, arms and linkage were replaced. Work order also indicated they recently performed an oil change. Within a week and the first time I used the wipers they failed, the car was also leaking oil. I brought the vehicle to a Ford dealer as all recently performed work at Janesville Subaru appeared to be failing. Ford found the wiper motor was broken, linkage was bent, arms were installed without a pin, the oil filter was not screwed on correctly and a vacuum pressure hose near the oil filter was broken and may have been bumped during recent oil change. Total repairs were $1500. I stopped by Janesville Subaru to inquire about reimbursement for the wiper motor, linkage and arms. I was instructed to email the shop manager. I did so and did not hear back for two weeks. I stopped in again to discuss with manager and was told I would hear back in a couple of days. A week and a half later I had to stop in again to get an update. My third time in they indicated they would not reimburse for any of the work despite the representation at time of purchased indicated they were functioning properly. If I had brought the car to their shop, they would have reimbursed the work. While this seems fair my hesitation was that all work previously performed at this shop was failing and I don't feel comfortable continuing taking it to Janesville Subaru based off my recent experience. I somewhat expected they would not reimburse the work but more disappointing was after the sale of the vehicle their communication and follow-up was non-existent. Their failure to take responsibility for the repairs is frustrating as they blamed it on product failures. I fail to see how an oil filter screwed on incorrectly is a product failure. More

All I can say is SHADY! ! My bad for not going with my gut. 1) Approached by a salesperson before getting out of our vehicle. 2) Salesperson got involved with finance numb ! (we should of walked). 3) Convinced/told that the anti-theft window etching was a factory or Subaru thing. Found out this was a total line of xxxxxxxxx. xxxxed out of $399. Oh well, could of been worse. 4) Over 2 weeks later, they still haven't finished the paperwork. I think their time is up. They can work around my schedule or come get the car. And you wonder why car dealers have bad wrap. The money matters, but the blatant lies are what really xxxx me off. More

This was the beginning of my first Subaru purchase! I cannot thank him enough for being so patient and understanding! He is a salesperson that will soar and represent Subaru in fine fashion! I will for sure recommend Subaru in Janesville to my family and friends:) I felt pretty "cool"...driving down the highway is such fashion! It has only just begun! Thank you- Subaru! More
