The rest of the process was very similar to dougpostman's review. After making an initial offer, they came back with a counter and absurdly high payments over 72 months. I was trading in a low mileage car and the value they placed on is was also significantly lower than everywhere else. When asked what the interest rate they were using, I guess it was the finance manager who came out to speak (1st handoff) and said that it was through Mazda and it was a good rate at 4.5%. Apparently they thought I was an idiot, or maybe they try to jerk everyone around like that. Again, as dougpostman said, they will not give you price info - its all payment numbers no matter how much I wanted to deal in high level pricing. I said I didn't think we could make it work so I was just going to leave, please give me my keys back. Finance manager then proceeds to ask if he made me mad, blah blah. I say no, I just don't feel like they're being fair. They leave, after waiting 5 minutes, sales associate and corporate guy from CA Mazda come (without my car keys) and take me to another desk (2nd handoff). The corporate employee was much easier to deal with. He got the rate cut in half,trade in value up, price down and I ended up taking the deal closer to what I wanted.Still think there was room to improve the offer on the trade in but I still think I got a good deal. However, it was all because of the corporate guy Alan. After waiting around for close to an hour again on the sales associate to get paperwork in order, etc I met with another finance guy for the final paperwork. Again, I was badgered for 10-15 minutes about adding on a warranty despite me saying no, no, no. "If we move the loan out to 72 months your payment will only be an extra $15 a month! How can you pass on that?!" I finally yelled that I had been there a long time and I wanted to sign my deal and leave, I had had enough of them. So I would recommend going to any other Mazda dealer first before this one. They will not make it easy to get a good price, and will only give you monthly payment numbers (which they can always finagle to get close to what you want). It came across as high pressured sales tactics - being passed around multiple times and harassed. All that, combined with being stuck there 5 hours and not being given my keys back so I could leave...avoid if possible. More

Right from the time I walked thru the doors to look at what I had in mind. She walked me through everything and found an answer for all of my questions, (which were numerous). She understood all of my wants and my needs. There was no pressure and she didn't try to influence my decisions or try to make me get something I did not want. She actually was sincere and wanted ME to be happy with the car of my choice!!! Purchasing my new Mazda was very quick from start to finish. After discussing various options with Matt Smith over a period of several days, it turns out that it would be a good move for us to upgrade to the 2015 Mazda CX-9. Matt provided all of the information we needed to make a smart, informed decision, all with very reasonable turn-a-round time. After getting in a bind and needing a car right away we called Greg Fails, who ALWAYS gets us into something that we can afford and love; even in a short time period! We arrived between 430 and 5pm and was out of the door with a car by 730!!! Shortest experience buying a car ever!!!! :) Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and patient. We had our 9 year old with us and even while he is getting bored (as normal children do) everyone still kept their patience with us and talked with him to help pass the time. Best experience buying a car yet! This is the 3rd car that we have purchased working directly with Greg for sales. We highly recommend going to Greg! More
