Jen Templin - Prior to buying our gently used 2016 CX-5 AWD from Jake Sweeney Mazda, my husband and I came close to purchasing the same car/different Jen Templin - Prior to buying our gently used 2016 CX-5 AWD from Jake Sweeney Mazda, my husband and I came close to purchasing the same car/different color, from another local Mazda dealer. We had taken the other CX-5 for a test drive, ready to buy, however, the negotiation process was horrific. We were told they did not have to sell that car for a penny less nor would they agree to give us something we had asked for since the price was non-negotiable. Fast forward a few days; I spoke with Tyler Dayton via Jake Sweeney's online chat, re: the used 2016 CX-5 AWD they had on their lot. I knew there was a recall on this line of vehicles, so Tyler worked to have this car pushed to the front of the line to be repaired. When my husband and I pulled up to Jake Sweeney Mazda Tri-County, Tyler was there waiting for us (we scheduled an appt.) along with the car 'reserved' for us! Tyler was just plain amazing during our test drive and the negotiation process. We knew there was not much 'wiggle room' with the price, so we asked for a couple of additions. Tyler was optimistic and willing to work with us, and did not hesitate to make this deal work. We had such a positive and professional experience with Tyler; we did not feel inferior or unimportant. Tyler made our car purchasing experience one to remember!!! I am the one driving the CX-5, and I love it. Tyler followed up with me a couple of days after purchasing the car; see how I was enjoying it and to see if I had any questions. I told him I had left my manuals out in the rain over the weekend.....ugh! I asked to purchase another set, as well as a touch-up paint pen. The next day, Tyler left me a message saying the manuals and paint pen were shipped to my home - his treat! Tyler - thank you for making our first experience with Mazda a positive one. She didn't want a car with lots of bells and whistles yet wanted something reliable and with low miles. We found a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu with the help of Greg. It has very low miles and is in excellent shape. Greg was extremely knowledgeable and made the buying process very simple. Mom's concerns were put to rest and she felt very comfortable. Sean Cheek assisted us with the financing and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Again, he put my Mom at ease and made the process easy. I personally purchased a new 2015 Mazda 6 from this dealership in December, 2014. Again, my experience was great. Knowledgeable staff and extremely helpful during the buying process.
