Good opportunity and match-up There were a lot of good things about my visit to Jake Sweeney Mazda. The interior is nice (newly renovated, I believe), the service personnel are friendly and informative, and my sales associate was helpful. I originally went in for a recall on my 2003 Mazda vehicle, and while it was being serviced I talked to Keith about looking for a new vehicle. He had a new car coming in that same day that we both thought would be a good fit. He helped orchestrate the information and it turned out to be a good opportunity for me. Keith was helpful and eager to help make the match. When I went in to buy, however, there was an extra expense on the car that I didn't ask for that the dealership puts on every vehicle. It's an environmental protection treatment to help maintain the status of the cars as they sit on the lot. My issues with that were that the car wasn't even there for more than a few days and I didn't even want the treatment but was still surprised by it and forced to have it since it had already been applied. The price cost over 10% of the vehicle itself. that was a bad surprise and something that should at least be mentioned to the customer beforehand so its not a huge surprise, and at most be covered by the dealer since its their expense. Despite all that, Keith still managed to help take off the included warranty for the treatment which helped reduce the cost of the treatment. More
Poor sales experience I contacted this dealer to get a quote when I was looking to purchase a new Mazda. I reached out to their online sales team, and Rachel reached out. After a few questions, she quickly sent a purchase cost for the vehicle itself, and also the amount of their other fees. I asked for clarification about a few things, and was then sent a separate quote by someone else at the dealership with a price that was $2,250 higher. I inquired about the price change, and was told that it was because they were including both military and loyalty rebates in the original quote. When I pointed out that my initial response to Rachel specified that I was not eligible for either, and that these rebates only total $1,250, I received no response. Rachel started off so helpful and everything went downhill. In general, this dealer seems very shady, untrustworthy, and like they are willing to say anything just to get you in the door. Quite unfortunate since I was ready to buy a vehicle and now need to take my business elsewhere. More
Nothing Short of Amazing! I found myself in a bind when my engine went out on my old car suddenly, with a job to get to everyday and a baby to take to and from daycare. On top of that they were an absolute pleasure to work with and made the car buying process as enjoyable as it can be.
