Our dealings with Chris Huff at Jake Sweeney was very positive. We successfully traded in a car for a newer used car that we had our eye on! Chris Huff was very helpful and knowledgeable without puttin positive. We successfully traded in a car for a newer used car that we had our eye on! Chris Huff was very helpful and knowledgeable without putting on too much pressure. He was very professional. We are pleased with the deal we got and we LOVE our new car! We will be back when we are in the market for another vehicle. More
JC Baker was great! This was the second time we had to get a car and he was a great help. He did his best to get us the best deal on the car. He cared about what we needed and got us the best deal. get a car and he was a great help. He did his best to get us the best deal on the car. He cared about what we needed and got us the best deal. I worked with Darrin Aden to try to purchase a used vehicle. While my credit situation is abhorrent, Darrin took the time to work with me to find a way to make it all happen. I have not purchased a car vehicle. While my credit situation is abhorrent, Darrin took the time to work with me to find a way to make it all happen. I have not purchased a car yet, but will be back once I straighten out some bad credit marks. Darrin has me sold as a customer without really selling me anything. More
I came to Jake Sweeney after being treated vary poorly at a competitor. Jeff meet me at the door and quickly arranged a rest drive of the vehicle that I was interested in. Before we left the lot, Jeff expl a competitor. Jeff meet me at the door and quickly arranged a rest drive of the vehicle that I was interested in. Before we left the lot, Jeff explained all of the functions of the car to me. Most of the salesmen that I have worked with in the past (at other dealers) have never displayed this knowledge. This was the smothest most enjoyable car buys that I have ever had. More
Went on 1/26/07 to look at an advertised used car. Was told 'they sold it while you were test driving it'. Was high pressured to buy something we did not want at a price we told them we did not want to pa told 'they sold it while you were test driving it'. Was high pressured to buy something we did not want at a price we told them we did not want to pay. We did settle on another car like we were looking for at a decent price. However, the dealer offered to furnish us with a new hubcap, and reimburse us for a tank of gas. After hounding them for 2 weeks, the hubcap finally arrived at our house. It has been a month of lies for the reimbursment check, which we still have not received. The salesman lied about it being 'in the mail'. We went so far as to talk to a Sweeney, he also lied about mailing the check. We are happy with the automobile (so far), but I would never go back to a dealership that places so little value on customer service. More
I wanted to buy a 07 Aveo (Sedan), so I paid them a visit to test drive one and see what cars they had in stock and what specials, if any, they were running. After test driving a 5 speed Aveo LS we sat down to test drive one and see what cars they had in stock and what specials, if any, they were running. After test driving a 5 speed Aveo LS we sat down with the sales rep. I had already researched the Aveo and I knew I wanted an Aveo LT with ABS; to save a little, I wanted a 5 speed, but was willing to take an automatic if they would come down on the price REALLY close to the Edmunds TMV price for the equivalent 5 speed with ABS. They had a car in the exhibition floor that seemed to fit the bill, it was a gray LT. After telling the sales rep that I would consider buying this car for X amount of money plus TTL, he wanted me to sign a piece of paper in which I was promising to buy said car at that X price plus TTLF (notice the additional "F" for "Fees"). I said NO, I am not signing anything, to which he said that it would be very difficult for him to convince his manager to go for that price; I said I don't care, just ask him. So while he is "asking" his manager, I find that this car had no ABS anyway (the main requirement I had), I left at this point. Imagine if I had signed this "promise of purchase"! They could have sneaked any kind of Fees thanks to that additional "F"; since Taxes, Title and License are pretty much set and known, thanks to that additional "F" they could have more than made up for any "discounts" from the MSRP; hell, they could have used it to go way past full MSRP if they wanted. And since I was promising to purchase, it didn't matter to them that I needed my car with ABS and this car didn't have it, at that point they could have said: well you promised and signed this paper, so pay up. I had never had this kind of experience with any dealer before or since. It is just like one of those horror stories of dealing with used car salespeople. More
Have had my (bought) car for over 5 years and have always had exemplary repair service. Have also leased a second car two times in the past 3 years with Sweeney, and again, have had only positive experiences had exemplary repair service.
