My mechanic contacted a manager in the service department after my Cobalt's fuel pump began leaking. They informed him that there was a recall on the fuel pump and that it would be fixed with no charge. Af after my Cobalt's fuel pump began leaking. They informed him that there was a recall on the fuel pump and that it would be fixed with no charge. After having the car towed to the dealership, the service technician called me and said no such recall existed. However, the mechanic had provided the paperwork in the car and the service manager contacted me and once again confirmed that the work would be completed for free, that my car's VIN matched the recall and that it would be completed by today. Today I was contacted by the service manager who stated that my car was not covered in the recall, stated that I Should Have Read the Recall More Closely and that it would cost me $700 for them to fix since the recall is for cars that were purchased and/or registered in other states. When I stated that I would have it towed away rather than paying that extreme price (mechanic can complete the work for half that price) they stated that I would owe them a diagnostic fee... for diagnosing what was already stated when the car arrived. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. The service manager has lied to my face several times and takes no accountability for the promises that he makes. THIS WOULD BE FIXED BY NOW IF THE SERVICE MANAGER HAD NOT LIED TO ME. I cannot believe that any business can succeed with these terrible business practices and lack of accountability. More
Our experience in purchasing a used vehicle was very long. We were at the dealership over 4 hours and I feel that is just too long to be waiting and sitting around. I did manage to get a good test drive in during this time and noticed a vibration in the right front. I pointed it out to our sales person and he didn't seem to concerned about it. The vehicle also had two active recalls which were not addressed. The dealership had this vehicle since January and they should have been taken of instead of waiting for someone to buy. One of the recalls was due to the inner fender liner rubbing directly on the brake line. Can you imagine if a customer test drove and then couldn't stop because the brake line had be rubbed through? I would think this is an example of dealer negligence. That very night, our vehicle was experiencing a large screech in the same right front. The screeching became louder and louder. In addition to this screech, our sales person did not put a temporary tag on the back of the vehicle. He apologized but passed the blame on to a lot tech. There was no lot tech that evening. I was very put off. Why can't you just accept the blame? How do you forget to put a temporary tag on a vehicle you just sold? Can you imagine if we would have been pulled over? There would have been a fine. Sales people, whether new or used, need to be up to date on the vehicle they are trying to sell. I was very fortunate nothing happened to me and my husband. I took the vehicle back to the dealer on Friday and was not very happy. A young man by the name of Troy, listened to all of my concerns and immediately began the process of fixing my complaints. The vehicle needed brakes and I was shocked the dealership sold us this vehicle without making sure it was road worthy. I do hope all involved learn from this experience. I am currently awaiting my new vehicle I purchased last Thursday. More

We went Jake Sweeney to get a new car,because we had purchased a conversion van in 2001. The sales person was very nice and informative at that time. I called Jake Sweeney and they connected us to J.C. purchased a conversion van in 2001. The sales person was very nice and informative at that time. I called Jake Sweeney and they connected us to J.C. Baker. He was very nice over the phone and made an appointment with us. When we arrived J,C. was very professonal and very informative, telling us about all the different cars that were available in our price range. He took his time and made sure we understood everything about price and specials that went with each car. We decided on the chev eqinox. He then proceeded to explan how everything worked and all the new function that were available on the car. I would definiely recomend him to anyone who was looking for a new car. I'd spent years before this shopping for a car, as I already had one that I chose to maintain since it was owned. Buying a new car had to be a car I was comfortable with. I'd resisted all sorts of pressure tactics, and Tyrone didn't waste any on me. After listening to what I was looking for, he suggested a car to me that he thought might fit the bill. It wasn't exactly what I had been looking for, but it did fit what I wanted and was really comfortable. I test drove a few cars, but his pick (one of the lowest priced of the lot, too) was what I went with. I had heard plenty of horror stories about buying at dealers, and I've been pressured and had dealers try all sorts of tricks to get me to take a car before. What sold me on buying from Jake Sweeney was the people and the company. Once we had discussed everything and I had decided I did want to buy the car, they bent over backwards to work with me on the price for a lack of down payment. I left with a new car, feeling very good about the purchase, and over a year later I still feel that way. When I'm ready to buy another car, Jake Sweeney will be at the top of my list. More

I received quotes from various dealerships and also spoke with their internet sales teams. I felt very comfortable working with JC Baker; Internet Consultant from Jake Sweeney as he was very open, friendly, with their internet sales teams. I felt very comfortable working with JC Baker; Internet Consultant from Jake Sweeney as he was very open, friendly, honest, and worked hard to get us the best deal available. In addition, the trade in amount that we received for our car was far better than any other offers that we received from other dealerships. I strongly feel that working with JC was one of the best business transactions I have ever made. JC is the best in my book. He is not only good at what he does; he will go out of his way to answer any questions you may have and search for the best deal for you. JC is very professional at what he does and it is clear that he cares for the customer. I worked with other internet sales personnel at the other dealerships that I received quotes from and after speaking with the sales staff, none of them compared to working with JC. It is very clear that JC likes working with people and his professionalism was a 10 out of 10. I have been a Quality Manager for numerous years and in today's world, caring for the customer is number one! JC does exactly that....caring for the customer! I am sure that JC will move up the ladder at Jake Sweeney and he deserves all rights to do so. I wish his well and I look forward to working with JC on any future car purchase. I want to personally thank JC for working with us and I would highly recommend him to friends and family members. P.S. We love our new Malibu.
