Had my 2001 XK8 repaired. Parts are always a challenge for older Jaguars, but Baker Motors always does a great job tracking them down and making timely repairs. This is crucial - he didn't push or try to oversell, he listened to us and acted as a knowledgable guide more than a salesman. So far we love our car and the after-sales service has been exemplary. No communication of the delay, and I had to call twice to get the status before my call was returned. They finished too late that day for me to pickup the car. More

Double paid for the same service A year and a half ago I had A windshield wiper motor installed. The wipers stopped working. Had to take the vehicle back in. The service manager sai A year and a half ago I had A windshield wiper motor installed. The wipers stopped working. Had to take the vehicle back in. The service manager said one of the screws from the wiper motor back out or came loose and they had to re-tighten the bolt. Which was the same items they replaced a year and a half ago I was forced to pay for the same work twice. It was not a faulty part issue but the lack of work quality with installing the part. More

Caled service they recommended getting towed to the dealership and was told the car would go to the head of the line since it was towed but an appointment was also made for monday am 8:30. Never received a call from anyone. When I called and left messages no one called me back. Finally on tuesday when I called again was told they were busy and had not looked at my car yet. Finally when I called again it needed two cables that needed to be ordered and would take a few days. Ten days later still no word. Called again and got answering machine so left message to call me. Surprise no call again for 24 hours. I finally called and asked to speak to service manager who came on the line and said my car was presently on the rack and should be done by end of the day. This whole experience was very painful. There was no communication from the service manager. Too bad there is not another Jaguar dealer in Charleston. More
