After having had a terrible purchasing experience from Sudbury Land Rover of a Range Rover HSE just a few years back, we were adamant about not purchasing our next Rover from this particular dealership. Although Peabody’s Range Rover dealership was a bit of a commute for us, the overall purchasing experience of our new Range Rover HSE from them was well worth the trip. First off, we have to say that Rusty Johnsen was the best sales professional we have ever dealt with in all our years of buying vehicles. He exhibited the utmost in professionalism, kindness, integrity, responsiveness and deep knowledge about the Rover vehicles. Never once did we feel uncomfortable or feel as if he was trying to pull the wool over our eyes as we had experienced in Sudbury sales. (I must mention, despite issues with Sudbury’s sales department, Sudbury’s service department is excellent) Rusty was trustworthy from start to finish and gave us a fair price for our new HSE and trade-in. Because we are a busy family, Rusty even drove our new vehicle out to Weston, took care of all the paper work, plate transfer, educated us on the new vehicle features right in our driveway and then took our old Range Rover back to their dealership for the trade. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and I am still amazed at the entire "experience" at LR Peabody. There are always some areas of buying a car that can be painful (i.e.- negotiations etc.) but I can honestly say that every single part of the process from the inital test drive with Will through negotiations to the final vehicle inspection was nothing short of pleasureable. I feel that the dealership was very fair in meeting as many realistic expectations that we set forth throughout this car buying process.
