I shopped for my Jaguar in VA and Md. Although this Dealer was not my closest, I decided to go see them after talking to Steve the Manager on the phone. He was very helpful, answered my questions with "real" answers and was very professional throughout our phone call. As a woman I had lots of questions that seemed to "bother" the other VA dealers I called, but Steve was just so professional I decided to make the trip, passing two other dealers, to see if he was for real. Well, I got there and everything was just the way he said it would be......I am so happy I took the time to call them. like I said they are a bit out of my area, but what a GREAT experience.....Thank you Steve. My salesperson was Gary Pridgeon, who was friendly and not pushy. he allowed me to make up my own mind and was just great. I was pinching myself because I really thought things were going too well and I was going to meet the dreaded finance person.......lo and behold she couldn't have been nicer. Rahjni, the finance lady was just as professional as everyone else ! So, overall a 100% satisfied customer, left the dealership with her new Jaguar........Thanks to everyone at Jim Coleman.....just superb ! More
Got a good price on a new car purchase. Easy to deal with. Very direct in approach. Had a couple of issues delivery of the vehicle but they "stepped up" and resolved all the problems. Salesman, Gary Pridgeon, did not know the product. Had me order a leather package that did not exist on a new 2011 XF Premium. Car was delivered with wrong leather package and had 612 miles on it!! Dealer offered almost nothing in exchange for misleading me, my incovenience, disappointment and TIME. Sales MGR, Steve Kenly, and GM, Chris Smith, could not have more smug about their mistake. Only Gary owned up to it. THEN, when I went to pick up my car that I left for trade, they had already moved it to the Wholesaler !! The moved my car off the lot without my permission and its now 12 hours later and I still don't have my car back!! It's a classic dealer nightmare !! I'll update after the lawsuit is filed ! More
I have purchased two RR sports from this dealership and have had a very positive experience on both occasions. General Manager Chris, sales Manager Steve, my sales person Gary all went out of their way to have had a very positive experience on both occasions. I had a small mechanical issue with my second RR Sport that I bought, and the team at Jim Coleman went out of their way to make sure that I was not inconvenienced while my car was in the shop. Each time that I bring my car in for service, I have a complimentary rental car waiting for me and I am on my way. These guys really know that it is service and people that keep customers satisfied and coming back to the dealership. I would buy my next Land Rover vehicle from Jim Coleman of West Columbia, absolutely! More
I went to the Jaguar dealer in Clarksville and worked with Joshua and he was very helpful in my buying experience. He knew more about the car then the previous sales person I worked with at another deal with Joshua and he was very helpful in my buying experience. A recent morning, I had to make an unplanned visit to dealer. Service manager listened to my description of problem and arranged for a tech to immediately check car's computer for stored codes. Tech determined battery was likely cause of problem and installed a new one. I was in/out in about an hour....which included unpacking and repacking a very full trunk! Willingness to help in an ''emergency'' situation was outstanding. Tech was careful with all that he took out of trunk (I re-packed it) and he explained how battery was the problem. Previous visits to this dealer for routine service have also been pleasant. I'll continue to bring my business to them....and recommend them to others. More
My experience with the staff at Jim Coleman Land Rover was actually pleasant and stress free. Not something one can say when purchasing a car. I don't like going to dealerships and I don't like talking to salesman. The initial contact which was the receptionist (unfortunately I forgot her name)was very pleasant and professional. She directed my call to Artie (salesman)who was professional, attentive and friendly. During my visit, I was asked by at least 3-4 other people in the dealership if I was being helped. After we came to terms with a proce,the rest of the process went like clock work. Jeanne and Jeff processed the necessary paperwork sent me on my way. Customer service is not always measured by what you see. It is the things that are done when the customer is not there. There was an issue with the vehicle mirrors that had to be fixed before I would agree to terms. This was Saturday night and service is gone. Steve and Artie promised me they would make arrangement to have this done @ their Infiniti dealership the following week. There was nothing written just a handshake. They made the arrangements and that is where I met Dennis who provided me with great service with fitting me in and fixing the problem. Friendliness is something that cannot always be taught. The staff at Jim Coleman I believe is genuinely friendly. Everyone I encountered was professional and eagar to help. Artie, who I spent the majority of time with made the process very comfortable and stress free. He is one salesman that I would talk to when I want to buy another car. More
