KUDOS to the Jim Coleman Jaguar/Land Rover West Columbia Team for a phenomenal job and wonderful experience. I was pleased with the customer service I received from the entire team to include Tom Bence, Jas Team for a phenomenal job and wonderful experience. I was pleased with the customer service I received from the entire team to include Tom Bence, Jason Weddington & Jeff (Finance). I started my search and inquiry via the internet and I immediately received a response with information regarding my vehicle of interest and was invited for a test drive. I was very pleased with the quality of professionalism I received from the moment I walked into the dealership. I was kept abreast of the process from start to finish and was done in less than 2 1/2 hours. I would definitely recommend the Jaguar Land Rover West Columbia dealership to my friends and family. Best overall experience I have ever had with a dealership. Job Well done!! More
Arrogant jerks. I was going to buy my RR Sport from them in February and the sales person had little knowledge of the vehicle and killed the deal. I eventually went to the Land Rover dealer in Rockville an in February and the sales person had little knowledge of the vehicle and killed the deal. I eventually went to the Land Rover dealer in Rockville and bought one the week later. I then took it to Jim Coleman for some service work and they totally missed the idea of customer service. The first thing they ask you is where did you buy the car. Does this really matter? It new, its under warranty. Jerks all the way around from the service guys to the GM who just sits in his office and acts like he a job to do when in fact no none is on the dealership. No one is even in the service department. Drive the extra 30 minutes to Rockville or Annapolis and get what you deserve from a better dealership. More
This dealership is a horrible dealership, I purchased a 2011 Mercedes Benz GL 450 with less than 18K mi. on 26 April 2013. Upon test driving the vehicle I noticed a horrible smell of smoke from the vehicle. I was told the vehicle was just detailed with an eco cleaning system for any allergens and such. I also noticed a clicking sound in the steering wheel for the automatic adjustment. The right side of the vehicle was making a strong popping sound that I also noticed after a week of driving. The salesman George informed me to bring the vehicle back and the smell of the vehicle and the steering column would be addressed. After trying contact and leaving several messages for George Devine (who never returned my calls) I decided to take the vehicle to MB for the repairs, since the car is still under factory warranty. I forgot to mention the vehicle has two DVD screens in the rear, I asked MB to demonstrate the use of the DVD player (since I did not have remotes or headsets), only to find that the left side player screen is broken. I made special trip to Jason (the sales manager) and George to inquire who will be responsible for repairing the broken DVD screen which cost 1587.13 according to MB. I was in shock, I know I brought a used 2yr old vehicle with less than 20k miles on the odometer. I did my due dilegence and check the carfax and other histories. As a consumer, I felt I was taken advantage of, and that I am stuck with a lemon for a car which I purchased only 2 weeks ago. I do not recommend anyone going to this dealership purchasing a off brand vehicle that is sold as used. I even purchased there president's club warranty package (which I know will not cover the stated protections given their history so far). Here is a comprehensive list of my current problems: Passenger side DVD screen broken Steering Column popping sound during automated adjusting Smell of smoke in the vehicle Grinding/popping sound on the right side of the vehicle (possibly a suspension problem) No Mats No second Key More
Great experience. Not your typical dealer. I traveled a long distance based on their word about the car and they were truthful and a sale was made and I am glad I found them. I purchased a new Range Rover from Jim Coleman Jaguar earlier this year and had an unbelievably terrible experience. Salesman, George Devine, was your typical car salesman, nothing special about him at a earlier this year and had an unbelievably terrible experience. Salesman, George Devine, was your typical car salesman, nothing special about him at all. He seemed to be fairly full of hot air, but that is not unlike any other car salesman, so I won't hold that against him. However, GM Chris Smith was unbelievably rude and a genuinely bad person to have worked with. My wife and I are in our 20's and make a good living (for our age). Given the proximity to the DC community, you would think Jim Coleman Jaguar would come across this fairly often. Instead Chris Smith treated us as if we were just wasting his time and inferred that he didn't need to deal with us because we couldn't afford one of their vehicles...how unbelievably rude! Even if that was true (which it wasn't), to make that assumption about somebody because they aren't in their 40s wearing a suit is incredibly presumptuous and arrogant. Our post-sales experience has been just as miserable. I had to stop by and talk with somebody at the dealership one day, and wouldn't you know Chris Smith himself was walking across the floor and was the one who we ended speaking with. Again he was rude and cold toward us! We did still end up purchasing our vehicle there because the price was decent and it had the options we were looking for. However, that gives no credence to the dealership at all as they are petty and not worth doing business with. We won't be back. More
I shopped for my Jaguar in VA and Md. Although this Dealer was not my closest, I decided to go see them after talking to Steve the Manager on the phone. He was very helpful, answered my questions with Dealer was not my closest, I decided to go see them after talking to Steve the Manager on the phone. He was very helpful, answered my questions with "real" answers and was very professional throughout our phone call. As a woman I had lots of questions that seemed to "bother" the other VA dealers I called, but Steve was just so professional I decided to make the trip, passing two other dealers, to see if he was for real. Well, I got there and everything was just the way he said it would be......I am so happy I took the time to call them. like I said they are a bit out of my area, but what a GREAT experience.....Thank you Steve. My salesperson was Gary Pridgeon, who was friendly and not pushy. he allowed me to make up my own mind and was just great. I was pinching myself because I really thought things were going too well and I was going to meet the dreaded finance person.......lo and behold she couldn't have been nicer. Rahjni, the finance lady was just as professional as everyone else ! So, overall a 100% satisfied customer, left the dealership with her new Jaguar........Thanks to everyone at Jim Coleman.....just superb ! More
Got a good price on a new car purchase. Easy to deal with. Very direct in approach. Had a couple of issues delivery of the vehicle but they "stepped up" and resolved all the problems. Salesman, Gary Pridgeon, did not know the product. Had me order a leather package that did not exist on a new 2011 XF Premium. Car was delivered with wrong leather package and had 612 miles on it!! Dealer of order a leather package that did not exist on a new 2011 XF Premium. Car was delivered with wrong leather package and had 612 miles on it!! Dealer offered almost nothing in exchange for misleading me, my incovenience, disappointment and TIME. Sales MGR, Steve Kenly, and GM, Chris Smith, could not have more smug about their mistake. Only Gary owned up to it. THEN, when I went to pick up my car that I left for trade, they had already moved it to the Wholesaler !! The moved my car off the lot without my permission and its now 12 hours later and I still don't have my car back!! It's a classic dealer nightmare !! I'll update after the lawsuit is filed ! More
