Located a vehicle and reached out to sales team to solidify its availability, sales manager and 2 sales staff contacted me to set appointment. Drive 1.5 hours to meet up only to bd told that the vehic solidify its availability, sales manager and 2 sales staff contacted me to set appointment. Drive 1.5 hours to meet up only to bd told that the vehicle had mechanical issues and was being sold as is . When I questioned the sales team about this they stated they had found out the day before of the mechanical issues but they had others on the lot to look at . At 7 pm the night before none of the sales team nor the sales manager brought it up in conversation however, sent me a Carfax and Rosenthals car inspection to get me to come in . Again nothing about mechanical issues . No biggie BUT For a Land Rover dealer to create a bait and switch is beyond un ex excusable. After all their Land Rover . We have used them twice in the past and will now look elsewhere because of their un excusable behavior. Bait and switch belongs across the highway in the industrial park lots . We have purchased 9 Range Rover/Jaguar vehicles from Richard Grzesiak, the GM. Since the purchase of my Current Range Rover sport it has been in the shop 8 times for coolant issues. While under warranty, Service dept could never identify the issue. Immediately out of warranty, the issue was identified…. We paid $600 to have it repaired. However, the issue was not remediated. We returned my car to Richard and BJ and they quoted us $3900 to repair the same issue!! Richard and BJ, the service advisor, both lied to my husband saying they “called”Range Rover customer service to ask for good will repair. (Good will requests are submitted online only). Kevin the service manager submitted the request and it was approved by Range Rover. Nonetheless, Richard Grzesiak, refused to perform the work. I would stay far away from Chantilly Range Rover! The service advisor, Williams, was very customer service oriented and kept me advised from beginning to end. The technician/mechanic did not focus on the details.
