The hea Tom Wood Jaguar went above and beyond in repairing the heating system on my 2004 XJ8 which I purchased from the Dealership in Sept of 2007. The heating system had apparently been damaged in an unreported accident and I failed to bring the problem to the attention of the dealer as I stored the vehicle during the winter and thus was not particularly inconvenienced by the problem. I brought the vehicle in for repair in December of 2016 because I had decided to use the vehicle during the winter months. As it turned out the damage was much more significant than I had appreciated resulting in a very expensive repair. Tom Wood Jaguar assigned Steve Petry to the task and he fully restored the system to original performance. And Tom Wood Jaguar was very accommodating on the associated cost of the repairs. I am more than satisfied with the total experience and will always recommend Tom Wood Jaguar to all of my friends. Steve Baranyk More

I live over an our away from the dealership, so it is not convenient to go there for service, though it is sometimes necessary. Using the "Contact Us" email on their website, I recently emailed the service department to ask about the time required for the needed repair, the availability of alternate transportation, and an estimate of the cost. After more than a week with no response, I called the service department. The girl who took the call couldn't answer any of my questions but was pretty adament that I would need to make two trips -- one for anassessment of the work to be done and one for the actual repair. I asked that she transfer me to someone who could answer my questions, They were all busy, so she took my questions and phone number and promised that someone would call me back in a few minutes. That was four hours ago. Why do I think I won't get any call? Why am I not surprised? More

We brought it back and Wood said it would cost $111 to figure out why it didn't work. Waste of time getting up for an 8:00 apt. in 1º weather. Should have told us all that on the phone before they scheduled it. $111 to figure out why their service on a recall didn't work? Very low class. Not what you expect from a Volvo dealer. Or any dealer. More

SUV for my family and after seeing a used Volvo XC90 listed for sale I immediately drove to the dealership to look at the car. I was shown the outside if the car but the salesperson said we could drive it because it hadn't been through service yet. He explained that he would call me and let me take it for a drive when it was ready. The vehicle was exactly what I was looking for but was listed $2,000 over its fair market value. I didn't want to make an offer without driving it so I waited. The next day after thinking it through I decided to call and put a $500 dollar down payment on the car so that it wouldn't get sold out from under me. Several days later the salesperson called to let me know it wasn't completely done but that we could drive it. While driving and inspecting the car I found some small issues and the salesperson explained that they might be able to take care of them. I offered a fair dollar amount for the vehicle and was told they couldn't sell it for that amount because of the money they had put into it. After some haggling the salesperson said he would talk to his manager the next day and let me know if they could do any better. He called me back the next day(Saturday) with an offer, and I asked if I could mull it over till Monday.(dealership closed Sunday) I spoke with him Monday morning and accepted his offer and asked for a total so that I could bring a check for the car. He stated he would call me right back. Several hours later he called to tell me that the car was sold to another party! What was the point in putting the money down? I'm guessing the other party was willing to pay more for the car so they sold it to them. He apologized and stated that he was frustrated by the situation as well. He then sent me an email with a refund notice for my $500 and stated again how sorry he was. I'm not sure what I could have done differently other than paying there hopped up price for the car. Very disappointed More
Bought car, paid cash, refuse to give title I bought a new car. Paid cash. They will not deliver a clear title. This is a new car. They are requiring a person to KEEP the car for twelve months. I traded it. This whole process taught me the tricks this dealer plays. Sign an agreement and you are told one thing and then find out later it was something else. Stay away from Tom Wood at all costs. More
Be very cautious when shopping at this dealership. I test drove a vehicle. It had some issues (which leads one to wonder how it made it past the 140 point inspectio when shopping at this dealership. I test drove a vehicle. It had some issues (which leads one to wonder how it made it past the 140 point inspection, but that's a whole other subject). I was not interested in the vehicle unless the issues were fixed. I was told that it would be no problem to address the issues, but needed a credit card to show "good faith" because there are 15 other salesmen trying to sell the same vehicle. I was assured repeatedly that the card would NOT be ran...and on that very day (without my authorization), they charged the card $200.00. Refund was credited two weeks later, but only after several texts/phone calls from me were made. PS. I would NEVER have provided my credit card information, but the salesman is a relative of a coworker and I made the mistake of trusting him when he said the card would not be ran. Lesson learned. Tom Wood knows Volvos. This team of experts performed an independent assessment of my Volvo after my engine was destroyed by a general auto service place performing an oil change. They did a detailed inspe independent assessment of my Volvo after my engine was destroyed by a general auto service place performing an oil change. They did a detailed inspection of my car, took pictures of problem areas, and explained the issues to me in layman’s terms (they were incredibly patient with me because I know nothing about cars!). The evidence showed that my engine was destroyed due to oil starvation. I confronted the general service place with this information and they told me I would have to take them to court. I was a little lady representing myself against a big corporate attorney and I won the case. There is no way I could have done this without the expertise and willingness of the Tom Wood team to go above and beyond in helping me out. I owned my Volvo for 10 years and have always taken my car to the dealer for service—this one time I decided it wouldn’t hurt to take it to a place that was closer to my house. Learn from my mistake and take your Volvo to Tom Wood—they do things right. More
