Our purchase experience of a F-Pace 2019 was smooth as silk, Michael immediately established rapport, he was attentive and a strategic listener..... Purchase experience was streamlined with a high degree of empathy and respect for our time. I have revisited the dealer on 3 separate occasions and Michael Paluh; our Sales Advisor alwaYS GREETED MY WIFE AND I WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT, COURTESY AND KINDNESS. Michael is an awesome gentleman. Now Michael our Service Advisor has a ritualistic approach to working with his client, i.e. he knew I was coming in for the first service and state inspection, greeted me by name, went over expectations and executed the process flawlessly. Vehicle was serviced in less than a couple of hours and he kept me abreast where the vehicle was in the process at least three times throughout the process. Michael ensured that the vehicle was washed and parked near the front as if it was coming off the showroom floor, how about this they both are commended for their courteous and professional dispositions , Job well done! For most of the last 14 years, Joe and Simon have had a hand in servicing my 2006 JagXType. I was beyond ecstatic to discover the whereabouts of this dynamic duo at Rosenthal Jaguar. Joe and Simon are truly the best at what they do. Simon is a master of his trade. He delves beyond what may appear to be the obvious conclusion and looks for the root-source of the problem. And Joe, well, it would be near impossible for me to count the number of times he’s come to my aid while I’ve been “stuck” in far-away locations. Over these many years, Joe has provided long-distance advice via phone and has helped me navigate, what was for me, some tough situations. I have complete trust in Joe and Simon—they are the gold standard in this arena. Rosenthal is very lucky to have them on the Team. I certainly would recommend Rosenthal Jaguar to others. Kevin dooly I love to come to Rosenthal Jaguar in Vienna. Tom is always nice and the staff are super helpful, until this morning when I met Kevin Dooly. My 2016 I love to come to Rosenthal Jaguar in Vienna. Tom is always nice and the staff are super helpful, until this morning when I met Kevin Dooly. My 2016 Range Rover was leaking snow and rain from the windshield, and I got up at 7am to drive from Maryland. Kevin approached me in a very rude manner and when I told him the reason I was there he said: “Well, we have other emergencies like you so go home and make an appointment”. I have never experienced such a rude person at Rosenthal and it was very disappointing. More
Expensive trial and error service experience. My older XJS had issues that this dealer made worse and very expensive by not telling me that the service staff had insufficient knowledge of how to u My older XJS had issues that this dealer made worse and very expensive by not telling me that the service staff had insufficient knowledge of how to understand and diagnose the problems of an older jaguar. On numerous occasions I would be told that the car was ready, then find the same or another engine related problem when I started to drive home. Whatever they did made things worse. This included, but was not limited to, severe and dangerous engine racing which required me to apply mighty pressure to stop the car, and severe and dangerous (dead spot) hesitation/stalling when accelerating from a stop. Over more than a month I was started on a trend of "let's try one more thing" that amounted to $4,500! Eventually one of the advisory staff told me..."look, these guys know how to read the electronics of newer cars on their diagnostic machines, but are clueless with "real" engine mechanics." In frustration I finally took the car to a foreign car repair shop in Alexandria, and they read the older electronics via bridle hook up to the engine and fixed the racing and hesitation/stall problems in one day for $150.00!! After so much frustration I was thrilled. If I had only gone there when the Rosenthal dealership issues had started to surface! BIG mistake of not correctly reading the situation on my part. Also, rental is only covered for 2 days if the car wasn't purchased from them...so add that inconvenience to my horror story. NEVER EVER take any car resembling vintage to this dealer. More
