Shopping for a car at Rosenthal Jaguar was on "ok" experience at best. HOWEVER, their service department is by far the WORST I have ever had the displeasure of taking my car to. They rarely fix the pr experience at best. HOWEVER, their service department is by far the WORST I have ever had the displeasure of taking my car to. They rarely fix the problem from the first try and for lack of better words, the service reps and their managers are nothing but liars and crooks. They tried, and to a point succeeded, in ripping me off by claiming my warrany expired 4 months early all because they inncorectly listed the car sold 4 months before I bought it. Because of this, I was denied getting my car serviced at another Jaguar dealership. The last couple of trips, they kept my car anywhere from 4 to 7 days before getting it back to me...usually with the same problem and not once because of delay in getting a part. It takes less time to assemble a complete car than for these guys to fix it...or pretend to have at least fixed it. On more than one occasion I had to contact Jaguar to have them deal with this dealer and assisting me in getting my car fixed. Sadly, when you're within your warranty period, Jaguar is all too eager to assist, but once it runs out, they could care less if the dealer rips your off or mistreats you. This dealer and Jaguar really made me regret the purchase of this car... luckily I won't have to keep it for more than another year before trading it in for a proper car; Mercedes or BMW. I already own a newer Mercedes that I service at HBL across the street. Seriously, I don't know how Jaguar is considered a luxury brand, it's insulting to even put it in the same league as Mercedes, BMW or Audi if you just base it on their dealerships and customer service. Stay away from Rosenthal...better yet, stay away from Jaguar and get proper German car from the first place. More
They advertised on Ebay, I went for a test drive (Mazda 3 trade in, they had). After a 2.5 hr driveto et there, I realize of the damage of the car. Car was described as excellent by description and pictures, trade in, they had). After a 2.5 hr driveto et there, I realize of the damage of the car. Car was described as excellent by description and pictures, but had damage under the front and under the side, pieces broken on front corrosion and bent on the side under. I talked with Craig Faunce and a Mr. Blackburn. They were not honest with the car condition. More
So I went here to get a brand new 2011 Range Rover. Paid nearly $55,000 for it and on the second day I drove it, there was a tire pressure problem. So I went out to check out my car tires and what do I see? nearly $55,000 for it and on the second day I drove it, there was a tire pressure problem. So I went out to check out my car tires and what do I see? Rips and tears in all 4 of my tires (One tear big enough to lower the tire pressure). I didn't notice it on the first day since from far away (with Tire Shine) it looked alright, but after I noticed this, I was furious and contacted the sales manager, in who I made the purchase through. He said "This sort of thing 'could' happen..." I have leased almost 10 different cars (mainly Mercedes Benz) in the past 8 years and never have I witnessed this sort of problem. I was thinking how could they have done this? But I remember that it took almost 2 hours to sign the papers and wait for the car to be “washed”. Why does a new car need to be washed? So I assume during the 2 hours that they took my car in the back, they exchanged my brand new tires for used tires and just put tire shine on it to make it ‘look’ new. Since this had occurred, I requested for a brand new car again since taking the wheels off a brand new car doesn’t make my car “new” anymore. So I said I would return my car that I had exchanged and get it from another dealership if they did not offer a brand new Range Rover. A couple hours after I got off the phone, he called me again saying that he would get me a new Range Rover. He possibly did this because he was scared that I would file a lawsuit against him in which I had every intention to. BUYERS BEWARE!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU IN ANYWAY THEY CAN. PLEASE CHECK YOUR TIRES/ENGINE/ETC. IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A NEW CAR! OTHERWISE, DON’T PURCHASE YOUR CAR FROM HERE. More
This was our third new car purchase and I have never been treated more fairly. Rosenthal Land Rover is a great dealership, ask to work with Michael Blackburn. Michael was straightforward, no BS, gave us a great price on our new LR2 and very fair price for our trade-in. Mike and Rosenthal Land Rover blew Land Rover Alexandria out of the water when it came down to the negotiation process. We never felt bullied by the sales team, we simply explained the vehicle and options we liked and an hour later we drove away in our new 2010 LR2. I highly recommend Rosenthal Land Rover. More
I bought an LR3 via the internet sales process. Very easy to accomplish everything with minimal conversations and paperwork. They were very helpful in acquiring out of state tags and registration. I would reccommend this dealership in the future and will use it again myself. Mike Blackburn was honest, strait-forward, and did very easy to work with. More
I have recently completed the purchase of a car, via the net, from Rosenthal Jaguar in Tyson’s Corner. The transaction was a cross border deal, thus adding a layer of complexity to the purchase. Mr. Mic net, from Rosenthal Jaguar in Tyson’s Corner. The transaction was a cross border deal, thus adding a layer of complexity to the purchase. Mr. Michael Blackburn, Internet Sales Manager, handled the sale for Rosenthal’s. Mr. Blackburn is an experienced automobile salesman, specializing in Internet sales. My experience through all phases -first contact, information gathering, commercial negotiations, documentation, and delivery were all handled professionally in a timely, courteous manner and certainly up to my expectations for the purchase experience of a luxury automobile. Based on my experience with Michael, without hesitation, purchase another car from this dealership. More

He ignored all of the specifications of my husband's car. I am glad I did not order my car with them as well, I was looking forward to getting a new Land Rover. Horrible client service, they even damaged the supercharged that my husband was trading in. Damages costed us a few hundred dollars. Somehow they managed to transform in two days a neat, well taken care of vehicle... into a filthy car with torn brackets on the license plate. At least we did not wait for their incompetence to produce more caos. It could have been worse if we had not noticed that the man was ordering the wrong car... barely on time. Terrible dealership, and the manager did not even respond to the complaints. His attitude is reflected in the poor quality of the customer service of his employees. I would warn people we know not to even concieve getting a car from them. More
Dealership was difficult to deal with. Often rude on the telephone and unresponsive. Left my trade with them for a couple of days and they damaged it. Did not even apologize or offer to repair the car. Sa telephone and unresponsive. Left my trade with them for a couple of days and they damaged it. Did not even apologize or offer to repair the car. Salesman made untruthful comments repeatedly. I rode in a taxi with the driver who had bought a Jaguar there. His comment to me was - NEVER AGAIN!!! More
I have bought 3 cars from this place and will never ever go back - period. First, I'll say without reservation that the sales team is very nice and helpful. The service team is another story. Through 3 c go back - period. First, I'll say without reservation that the sales team is very nice and helpful. The service team is another story. Through 3 cars' services, my service guys were rude to me, to my boss (when they called to let me know the car was ready) - and more. I complained to the manager once and he switched me to a new service guy - no improvement. Once while on a three-way call with my insurance adjuster, Tommy stated several times that he was sure that none of the work he was doing on my car was covered by my insurance company because I drove my car incorrectly and wore down my brakes quickly (hmmm - interesting since I've never had problems with my driving before). My adjuster finally snapped at him that I had paid for additional coverage for my NEW car and he should just list the work to be done for her review. He demanded to know if he too could get this same service because he had never heard of it before; could "anyone" get this service. There "must be some mistake" and he had told me that there was no point in me calling my adjuster. In fact, the insurance did cover a significant portion of the work - and he was not happy that they did. He made a point to tell me that "all" the work was going to be done and that I'd have to pay if they didn't - really? At one point, he was upset about my grad school schedule and that the loaner (a decrepit black Dodge Caravan - I swear!!) would be out an extra day!! He has called my job numerous times and demanded to know if I "still" worked there when someone answered. Another time, on my way to the dealership, my car's lights started going off and on repeatedly (not wanting to get stranded a few miles from the dealership); I drove carefully to the dealership and was relieved to have made it there. My relief was shortlived when the service guy (this time not Tommy) told me that it really was a "dumb move" for me to keep driving (no joke!). I hate this place so much, I have refused to go for my free service checkups and pay another dealership instead (probably what they want in the end) and will never go back to Landrover Rosenthal. This isn't even half of how I've been treated. Forget about the service mistakes or the broken deadlines, etc., for me, customer service is essential and they don't have it. I am now car-shopping again, I am looking forward to getting rid of Landrovers altogether and will never -(did I said never?) never buy another one - OR - another vehicle from Landrover/Jaguar Rosenthal. Amen!! More
Purchased used car, one week later had problems starting. Car was towed and taken in 6 times over period of several months....nothing fixed. Problem persisted and finally starter replaced. Service Manager Car was towed and taken in 6 times over period of several months....nothing fixed. Problem persisted and finally starter replaced. Service Manager was verbally rude, condecending, and arrogant. Will not and have not been back. I have driven all the way to Richmond VA to avoid this dealer. BEWARE! More
