We drove to St. Pete from Nova Scotia -- over 2000 miles in 6 days -- in our 2005 X-type. When we arrived there was a humming noise in the rear end, which turned out to be a bearing problem. Rick and his mechanic handled me right away, getting the car up for inspection within a hour of my arrival and with a diagnosis and price in short order. (I expected to have to wait at least a week for an appointment.) While I was waiting, Dean answered my questions about the new car line-up and also about the Mercedes C-Class line. He looked into the rules for importing back to Canada and what he did not know, he found out before I left the shop. Dean then arranged for a loaner (a 2011 XF) which was in great condition. A few hours later, he called to say that due to the age of our car, one of the bolts could not be loosened and the housing around the hub would also have to be replaced. The cost was going up almost $300, but he offered the option of a used part, which I rejected. (When I picked up the car, he showed me the part with the stripped bolt.) The only down-side of my experience was that I had to return to the shop after almost getting back to downtown because I had forgotten to leave the key for the loaner. Since the key remains in your pocket, it was not in my hand when I got out of the car, and with all the paperwork and checking the old part, Edyta forgot to ask for it. She apologized, accepting responsibility for what was certainly my 'senior moment' error. More
This is the fourth Jaguar I've purchased from this dealership. On April 30, 2011, I traded in my 2009 Jaguar XF, for a 2011 Jaguar XF. I've had my new XF back to the dealership 6 times to eliminate dealership. On April 30, 2011, I traded in my 2009 Jaguar XF, for a 2011 Jaguar XF. I've had my new XF back to the dealership 6 times to eliminate vibration, in the steering wheel. The vibration is constant, but becomes very bad between 50 mph and 70 mph. First they balanced the tires, then they replaced 1-2 tires (they cannot say whether it is 1 or 2), then they replaced all 4 tires and then they replaced the Continental tires with Michelin tires. Unfortunately, none of the replacement tires made any difference. In fact, the Michelin tires not only had vibration, but were extremely noisy, as well. Because I saw no improvement, we requested that they return the new Continental tires to my vehicle. Initially, their main theory was that it was due to "flat spots", in the tires. Later, comments ranged from flat spots to "that's just the way the car is designed, they all do it", to just out and out refusing to admit there was any problem with the vehicle, at all. During the first few services, I was lent 2 different XF loaners. Both "loaner" vehicles had the vibrations, specifically one even worse than my vehicle and the other vehicle vibrated the same as mine. The final visit resulted in an all out refusal to admit there was any problem. It is a shame that Jaguar cannot troubleshoot and repair the issue. It has been a miserable experience, instead of being a joyful experience. I wish I still had my 2009 XF, as there was no vibration, but the smooth ride I'd expect from a $60,000 car. More
Most service has been fine, but an engine replaced at the dealership that has had documented issues with using oil and having an engine noise is now "out of warranty" and the problems were not fixed while th dealership that has had documented issues with using oil and having an engine noise is now "out of warranty" and the problems were not fixed while the car was in the warranty period. Now that the car is outside of the warranty period, I am expected to live with it. Not happy about this. More
We just switched from another local Jaguar dealership to Crown Jaguar and could not be more pleased. The service Consultant Rick Anderson made us feel right at home and treated us as if we were long time Crown Jaguar and could not be more pleased. I was introduced to the tech who worked on our vehicle and he pointed out several problems with the vehicle the other dealership never mentioned. They corrected the problem and made several suggestions for service on our next visit. We will continue to have our vehicle serviced at Crown Jaguar even though it takes another forty minutes over the already one hour trip we previously had to the other dealership. More
This is the third Jaguar I have owned with the first two being purchased at Crown and the recent one being purchased out of the area. With that said, I have always received and still receive the superb atte being purchased at Crown and the recent one being purchased out of the area. I brought my car in on Friday becasue my windshield wipers stopped working. After dianosing the problem, they told me they needed a part which would not arrive until Monday - so they gave me a brand n wipers stopped working. After dianosing the problem, they told me they needed a part which would not arrive until Monday - so they gave me a brand new XF (1900 miles on it) to use for the weekend. Then, when I returned on Monday, my servie advisor took 25% off of the total bill because she said they had mailed me a 25% off coupon that I had forgotten about. Talk about great service - they are terrific! More

Karen Cavenaugh is very good at her job, and a valuable asset to the Crown service Dept. She is straight forward, honest and aways seems to provide the right answers. I usually wait until the last minute to decide to bring my car in for an oil change and Rick and Karen are always very accomodating. And, when I have had a service issue, they are always right there to he my car in for an oil change and Rick and Karen are always very accomodating. And, when I have had a service issue, they are always right there to help. There is nothing worse than being stuck on the side of the road and not knowing what to do. Rick got me the information for the two, the rental, and checked back with me to make sure I was okay. Karen has always given me advice on parts and costs and what is the best option for my repairs. They are a good team. More
