Although the dealer eventually fixed my problem the service advisor was very unfriendly and made me feel like I was putting him out. I took my XKR convertible in to repair a seat recline that resulted service advisor was very unfriendly and made me feel like I was putting him out. I took my XKR convertible in to repair a seat recline that resulted after extensive low and dead battery issues. I read 20 posts that said the seat model (may not have term correct).needed to be reprogrammed (a very fast and simple tasks Ia m told). I was told $195 min to diagnose and fix... unless it was more involved... I shared that were two other strange things that happen when the battery dies... all related to the dead battery . The unfriendly advisor charged me for THREE min $195 charges... It gets worse... When I came to pay I had a 20% off coupon...this same advisor said they would not accept as it had to be presented at time of dropping off car.. WHY, so he could have charged me for a 4th $195? After I sent him a picture that NOWHERE on the card was any mention fo having to provide the card in advance he reluctantly refund the 20%...Unethical? of yes money hungry..you decide. NOTE: I bought this car for $104,000. And it is time to get a new one soon... and this dealer just lost that opportunity. More
