There was no real negotiation, not because he was unwilling but, because they took it upon themselves to make the deal as good as possible. Although the dealer eventually fixed my problem the service advisor was very unfriendly and made me feel like I was putting him out. I took my XKR convertible in to repair a seat recline that resulted service advisor was very unfriendly and made me feel like I was putting him out. I took my XKR convertible in to repair a seat recline that resulted after extensive low and dead battery issues. I read 20 posts that said the seat model (may not have term correct).needed to be reprogrammed (a very fast and simple tasks Ia m told). I was told $195 min to diagnose and fix... unless it was more involved... I shared that were two other strange things that happen when the battery dies... all related to the dead battery . The unfriendly advisor charged me for THREE min $195 charges... It gets worse... When I came to pay I had a 20% off coupon...this same advisor said they would not accept as it had to be presented at time of dropping off car.. WHY, so he could have charged me for a 4th $195? After I sent him a picture that NOWHERE on the card was any mention fo having to provide the card in advance he reluctantly refund the 20%...Unethical? of yes money hungry..you decide. NOTE: I bought this car for $104,000. And it is time to get a new one soon... and this dealer just lost that opportunity. More
