Disappointing Came to dealership on 6-19-17 and spent time with salesman. Drove several cars in front lot. Back on 6-20 and walked all over the back lot with our salesman to find the 2 AWD cars we had decided we were interested in as they were not out front because had not been checked in to go on display. Decided on the Volvo we wanted and requested to drive before we did contract. Was assured by salesman he would put in a request to get it ready and hold it for us. Got written quote. I called on 6-21 and it was not ready yet and was told to return on 6-23 or 6-24 to drive before writing contract. The salesman was off on 6-22. We still went back to look at dealership on 6-22 but because we wanted to follow the instructions we had been given, we did not get another salesman to help us. We went inside and sat in 2 cars. Called salesman in the am of 6-23 to come in to drive and was told it had been sold! I could not believe we were treated like that and let the salesman know how upsetting it was. I asked to have the manager call me and he did. There did not seem to be any remorse about our inconvience or wasted time. The manager just offered to try to find us another car like it. By this time, I had already called the dealership in Asheville NC and they had the same car but it was more expensive. I bought a Volvo in Columbia many years ago and loved the car but now have reservations about dealing with the Greenville dealership, not sure they can be trusted. It is obvious we were serious about getting this car and wonder where the communication broke down. Also, how much competition and communication is there between salespersons? We wasted time there because of the outcome. I note the other reviews I have read seem to be glowing so hopefully my experience seldom happens. Note: After our first visit we received a customer survey call from Volvo and I rated the visit a 10. Hope I get another survey call so I can change it. I would recommend this Volvo dealership only because there is not another one close by and some customers cannot travel longer distances. More

We were able to talk on the phone before arriving, and were overwhelmed with the kindness & hospitality we received from everyone at Greenville Luxury. We had our 3 year old twins in tow, and never once were made to feel out of place. Lee was our salesman and helped us every step of the way, even turning on Sesame Street for the kids and getting them snacks from the gourmet coffee & snack bar, complimentary to guests. After we purchased the vehicle (the finance process with James was a breeze), Lee called to check in every few days to make sure everything was running well & that we were satisfied with our purchase. Out of state purchase of 2015 Landrover I was in search of a used 2015 LR4. they had a 2012 that was probably a great buy but wanted a used vehicle a bit younger. They found one at another dealership and over the phone, by computer, and more phone calls transferred a vehicle to Greenville. We were in the final days of an actual purchase and I would be going to Greenville to pick the vehicle up. Chad Chambers had told me that this vehicle was better than he originally believed. During the time of transfer of the vehicle to Greenville from the other dealership, I had to have emergency surgery and would not be able to come to Greenville to purchase and transport back. Chad and his manager made arrangements to deliver the vehicle to the address I was recouping and had all the papers ready to sign and picked up the down payment. This is my 4th Landrover and I have never had such a degree of service ever. As a friend of mine says...This was the kind of service that owners of Landrovers come to expect! Until now I have never had this service to this kind of level. I will definitely recommend Chad and this dealership to all I know who are in the market for new or used cars.
