First off, I would like to say that I have worked with Adam for 3+ years and he has been a pleasure to work with for the entire time. The same cannot be said for the quality of work with my most recent visit. My LR3 has recently had some issues starting and so I brought it in to see if they could diagnose the issue. My first trip in they did some diagnostics and couldn't really find anything, they thought it might be the fuel pump but they advised me to see if the issue corrected itself as a new fuel pump was going to be $1200, which I appreciated as I didn't want to spend $1200 if they couldn't pinpoint it for sure. However, not long after I got the LR3 back the issue persisted and this time was so bad that I couldn't get it started at all and I had to have it towed in. This time they assured me that it was the fuel pump. I spent $1200 on the new fuel pump and picked up the LR3 feeling confident that the problem was solved. Unfortunately, the next morning after I got it back from the shop the same thing happened and the car had issues starting. I finally got it started and brought it in for a 3rd time with the same issue. This time, it took awhile for the car to act up for them but finally after it did they told me that they thought the issue has to do with a faulty sensor, another $280 fix. So they replaced the sensor and I just picked up the LR3 again and after two starts we are so far so good. I can't help but wonder though if the $1200 fuel was never the issue in the first place...hmmm? Hopefully, they finally corrected the issue...we will see. To be fair, this is my first complaint in 6+ years with Land Rover Minneapolis but 3 weeks later and almost $2000 worth of diagnostics, labor, and parts I'm getting a little frustrated with them and the car. More
Excellent service, very friendly, didn't have to wait long at all. Love that you have WIFI. I was still able to work on my laptop while my truck was serviced. The pricing is a little on the higher side but considering the good service provided it was worth it. I have and will continue to recommend owning a Land Rover. I will never drive another car! I love my Range! I will definitely be back in a couple years to upgrade it! Thanks! More
This was overall a great experience. It is nice to have great customer care. They do it well at Golden Valley Jaguar. I was given frequent updates on how the work was coming along---not too much --- not too little. The update frequency was perfect. While there I test drove a new Rover. The sales guy was very friendly and very knowledgable of the product, mechanical details, company history, materials used, etc. It is nice to do business with people that know their business and don't have a take it or leave it maintenance attitude or some flunky off the street trying to sell a car that they know nothing about. I am very pleased with Golden Valley Jaguar. More
Greg was wonderful to work with. He is very friendly and attentive. The only setback to the whole experience was the length of time to get the financing in order. Found my experience at this dealership to be very sub par. We set up an appointment to pick up our newly purchased vehicle and neither our sales person or the business manager that we had worked with wer par. We set up an appointment to pick up our newly purchased vehicle and neither our sales person or the business manager that we had worked with were there despite us setting up an appointment with them. We received our car late as a result. We were notified that our license plates had arrived 3 weeks later and when we brought the car in to have them put on, no one could find them. When we brought our concerns to the GM he set up an appointment for our car to be washed, detailed, and to have the license plates put on. We dropped off our car at 8 AM and were asked when we would like to pick it up. We asked if it would be ready between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. The service manger assured us that it would be ready long before then. When we arrived at 3:45 to pick the car up it was not ready. They had us wait for 20 mintues while they finished the job that they said would be done well before 2 PM. Overall a terrible experience. More
