At first I was going to wait an hour for my service to be done, but I had business so I got a loaner car (loved it!! my favorite part of the service!) then found out I needed tires and a marker, the next day done, but I had business so I got a loaner car (loved it!! my favorite part of the service!) then found out I needed tires and a marker, the next day it still wasn't done, the third day I came to get my car. Very friendly and kind in service. Understood my servicing issue with patient and worked on it really well. However, it took couple of days to resolve. My wife and I purchased a 2009 Jaguar XF. I was apprehensive since we had numerous problems with our 2000 Jaguar S Type. My wife wanted it, so as a husband I did the research and found Ford no long apprehensive since we had numerous problems with our 2000 Jaguar S Type. My wife wanted it, so as a husband I did the research and found Ford no longer owns them and the design is innovative. Still a little nervous, we went with the purchase. We have 2 other vehicles, so this one stays in the garage most of the time. Purchased at over 42000 miles summer 2012, the engine light comes on in January at less than 46000 miles. My thoughts, here we go again. I have a 2007 Lexus ES350 and simply in LOVE. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Jaguar. Very impressive design and power, but I simply need reliability more. My wife calls in and explains the engine light and requests an oil change. The person she spoke with said the engine light could come on if the gas cap is not propertly on. She tried it, but no go. A day later, the light went out. I kept the appointment since we wanted an oil change. Upon arriving, the greeting was warm. I was walked into the office and told the person who was assigned to help me was not around and have a seat. He eplained I could help myself to drinks and refreshents if I'd like. I waited about 3 minutes and a nice agent offered to help since the other gentleman was not back yet. The agent went over the cause of the appointment and explained even though the engine light is off, the codes will remain in history to tell the issue. He then went on to explain it would cost $215 for the diagnosis. I explained to the agent that we purchased an extended warranty and I was not comfortable paying the additional cost. He went into his agent mode and explained all about the warranty's and such. My thought is wait and see what happens then, not going to pay. My mind is really racing now, thinking I should have talked her into a Lexus, oh boy. I go to the waiting area and about an hour into the wait, another agent arrives and gives me great news. He was confident the cause would be covered under our extended warranty and said the automobile needs a thermostat. It would take another hour if I was ok with the wait. That was the kind of customer service I am accustom to. Another hour went by and the agent came back to explain everything is installed and the vehicle is in great condition. I was very impressed with this agent. I wish I had remembered his name. The receptionist was also very helpful. She saw me struggling to find something to write on during a call I was on, and handed me a posted note. I got the keys to my vehicle and proceeded to the garage to retrieve. I appreciated the wash, which I held off on due to the appointment, but I had to dry the car off. If the car was dried off and wheels cleaned, this would have put my rating above and beyond. While I was drying the vehicle, an agent did come out and offer to help me, but I was almost finished by then. I have to say, they are not at the superior level of excellence, but I can tell they are interested in trying to achieve this level. More
