Started off great, then downhill from there. Purchased a used low mileage VW Passat TDI online found on cars.com. Sales rep Jon was great at first, accepted counter offer, etc. However, once Purchased a used low mileage VW Passat TDI online found on cars.com. Sales rep Jon was great at first, accepted counter offer, etc. However, once check was fed ex'd on 1/17 it was downhill quickly from there. I had to call on eve of 1/21 to see if they even received the check as I hadn't heard anything, and the response from Cory in the business office was "oh yeah, thanks". Then we decided to have the vehicle shipped on 1/18 instead of picking it up that weekend. I was told on 1/22 it would be shipped by the end of the week and then it was crickets. I got a "thank you" for your purchase via email a week after they received the check on 1/25. No personal call. I called on 1/31, 2/1, 2/2 for updates with no response. I left a VM with the manager on afternoon of 2/2 regarding lack of returned calls, and within an hour I was told via text, (no phone call), that the car would be shipped the next day. Car wasn't shipped till 2/7. Again this info given only via text. No info on carrier, eta, etc and when I inquired for information, no response. Next day carrier called 30 minutes before delivery. I just happened to be off that day. Otherwise whom knows how this would have worked. Started car and temp light was on and "Inspection Now!" warning displayed. Antifreeze was low, so I purchased antifreeze and filled it which took care of that and I went online and figured a way to turn Inspection Now light off. I never received any follow up on if we received the car, how we liked, it, etc. Other than that, I'm actually really happy with the car. However the communication or should I say lack of communication and follow up as well as the delay in receiving the vehicle made this experience lackluster to say the least. I actually at one point thought I might have been scammed. More
