I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle with a 6 year extended warranty with the option of buying an additional year. The contract I received shows in writing that my extended warranty expired April of 2 extended warranty with the option of buying an additional year. The contract I received shows in writing that my extended warranty expired April of 2022, although when i went in for service where there were issues with the vehicle costing over $2,000 i was told that the extended warranty loaded into the database was listed as expired as of April of 2021. My vehicle was not in service at the purchasing dealer, but the warranty states the vehicle can be serviced at any Land Rover dealer. When contacting Manhattan Land Rover I was told that the warranty was indeed expired even though I provided a copy of the contract which clearly states April 19, 2022. Manhattan Land Rover basically told me i would have to pull my car from the service department at the dealer where is was being serviced and to bring it to their service department where they POSSIBLY would see if they can internalize the cost. I proceeded to explain that service was already started and at that point was basically told too bad. More
Be careful with Land Rover. The service of my Jaguar Fpace at Jaguar Manhatten is the worst experience I have ever encountered. I had 4 new tires, brakes, rotors, pads and windshield wipers replaced. This was a very expensive endeavor but I trusted there service from previous experiences. When my car was returned to me, I was missing my weathertech trunk liner, Yetti cooler and snow brush. Ive been in contact with the service manager Ben and service rep Catherine. There has been no urgency or care to rectify my stolen property. The service department should be ashamed.
