Kris Waskowski was a genuine gem in showing us the benefits of the new Range Rover Sport. We had a wonderful day of trying the car and taking a long drive to see all the positive sides of the Sport. Kris was gentleman and answered all of our questions. We appreciate the care he showed to us. I bought the most beautiful car today and it was all in thanks to a good experience at the dealership. She had all the information I needed and if I had questions she was quick to respond with the answers. Her follow up was second to none. She wanted to make sure I was receiving the best customer service. I worked for a Fortune 100 company as a Vice President of Sales and I would hire her immediately. That's how good she was in the entire customer experience. The dealership is lucky to have someone as professional, caring and attentive to detail in all aspects of the sale. More

We weren't planning on trading my car yet, but they gave us such a great deal we couldn't pass it up. They had exactly the car I wanted on the lot. We were trading my car in but were visiting from North Carolina and didn't have my car with us. No problem! We went home and three weeks later came back to pick up the new car and drop off the old one. We were only there for the night and planned to leave to go back early the next morning. They had everything ready for us that evening. We signed, picked up the new car and were on our way in no time flat. Very efficient! Definitely recommend them! More

They were very patient, very nice, very honest and made me ""want to" buy an car there. Kris was my direct contact as salesman and was excellent. I went to at least 15 dealerships and was most impressed by this one. It was a plant "buying" experience. More

I saw the car listed on Autotrader and enjoyed talking briefly with Ryan from Internet sales. I appreciate him referring me to Derek Harpp in sales for my on site visit and test drive. Derek was able to text me the the window sticker for the car before I left home. Derek knew I would be driving a 2007 Jaguar XK convertible and literally met me at the door of the dealership upon arrival. Derek is a knowledgeable salesperson, and attentive listener. He allowed for the right amount of distance ( long or short route for the test drive - my choice) and quiet time during the test drive for me to really get the feel of the car. I had been looking for a Porsche Panamera 4S or GTS for some time and they had the perfect car, a red 2016 GTS received on trade with less than 2000 miles. In less than 3.5 hours from my arrival, Derek, with Nick Del Negro from sales management and Morgan Kin in finance had me out the door In the GTS. The GTS price was excellent and I received a very fair trade value for the XK convertible, which was a great car that we loved but probably would not be driven much after the GTS became an option. Everyone gladly stayed late after the usual closing time of 7pm to accomplish this. Minor detail - I forget to remove the CDs from the XK - called Derek and he sent them by Fed Ex to me. More
Sales and Service Experience Very Poor Location visited: Jaguar/Land Rover of Fort Myers. 15875 S. Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, Florida 33908 (239) 454 - 4444 When dealing with modern automotive facilities, especially high end lines, it is not common to find two departments within the same facility so severely lacking in sales and service qualities. However, when found, it generally points to complacent leadership by the General Manager. I can only surmise this is the current state of affairs at this dealership. As a Land-Rover owner I needed service. The repair cost (primary module failure) was substantial and the original rough quote was well over $2k for the non warrantied repair. Thus I considered trading in, and up, for a new 2016 or 2017 model; I shifted over to the sales department. To say the salesmanship was poor and unprofessional, would be unfair criticism toward the ordinarily poor and unprofessional salespeople of the world. Unfortunately, I had the experience of dealing with a condescendingly terrible sales representative named "Simon". I should have anticipated something troubling with this particular dealership when I noticed the entire showroom was devoid of something usually important, customers. Alas, I soon discovered why. This dealership is lacking the basic tenet of selling things: "an appreciation" for even being there. Generally speaking, a greeting would not be too much to expect. However, with a half-dozen sales looking people standing around, and a customer looking to purchase the items they are selling, it would appear too problematic for the representatives of this dealership to look up from their handheld time-occupying devices. The impression was surreal, like something out of an odd Seinfeld episode. The lack of a greeting, warmth, personality or simple kindness generally found in human interaction, was only surpassed by the dealerships projected unwillingness to even sell the items they are spending thousands of dollars to market. Somewhere between ignoring the customer and the proprietary rude and dismissive need to huddle with colleagues in conversation of sorts I discovered why I was the only customer in the enterprise. It only takes a few minutes at this poorly managed facility to recognize that time spent traveling North to Sarasota Florida (alternate dealership) will be well worth it if you have any expectation of customer service. But wait, it gets worse. Having made the decision to purchase the new Land Rover in Sarasota, the issue of fixing the current vehicle was back on the table. OK, says I order the parts, I'll spend $3k and after repair drive North to trade in Rover for the newer model at a dealership deserving of patronage. A week later, she's ready. Great. Paid "Albert" for the repair and I'm off. But wait... when I opened the door, she's filty. Not only unwashed, but greasy hand prints all over the dash, door panels and console; greasy black boot prints all over the tan carpet, and torn door seals which were fine when we entered. Rover was spotless, albeit with a broken computer, when Land Rover of Fort Myers took custody of the vehicle; and upon return, she was filthy. Now the empty sales floor made even more sense. You see word on the cocktail party and executive lunch circuit (aka golf course) travels fast, and a few friends later it appears there are dozens of SWFL Land Rover customers traveling North (Sarasota) and East (Miami). I was apparently, one of the last to discover this dealership is to be avoided. Lesson learned. I alerted the "service technician" to the condition. Albert Sammellan saw the filth. He asked me if I had time -more time- to wait while he "tried to find someone" to clean it. He was more responsive than the sales unit, but I couldn't help but wonder why ONLY THIS DEALERSHIP doesn't inspect the work before they return the vehicles to the customer. Then I remembered the empty sales floor again. "Never mind" I'll pay someone else to clean it. If you are in the market for a new Range Rover, Land Rover or Jaguar, you probably have an expectation of sales and service. I would encourage you to avoid this specific dealership. AMSI President Terry Taylor, has a solid reputation for owning quality dealerships. However, he also allows his GM's to have full autonomy. When a GM gets complacent, lazy or just doesn't quite have the focus, you get a Fort Myers Jaguar and Land Rover experience. This dealership group is obviously an Terry Taylor outlier. More
