First Service for my Discovery I have all good things to say about the service that I received. No doubt about it. But the shock to me was the price tag associated with it. $475. I have all good things to say about the service that I received. No doubt about it. But the shock to me was the price tag associated with it. $475.96 + tax does not include an oil change. A $499.95 includes an oil change. Does that mean that the oil change only costs $23.99. I would prefer to do that over spending $475.96 for some basic tests which other luxury cars dealerships do it for free for e.g. tire rotation, reset service level indicators, clean battery cable ends, check wipers, check and top fluids, check tire pressure, check for under vehicle leaks, etc. More
