Interesting experience overall While the ordering process was good as I custom ordered and the delivery process was also fairly good..there were some delivery problems and now some While the ordering process was good as I custom ordered and the delivery process was also fairly good..there were some delivery problems and now some reliability issues. First, the original shipment and receipt date varied by about 1 month. Not a big deal as in the end it all worked out for me as far as my costs around disposition of prior vehicle. However, the uncertainty and then sudden rushed nature of the close of the transaction were very problematic. I was told it'd be one particular/day time for delivery and then it changed and I only had 48 hours to come and get it or they could sell it! Well that's fine if you don't happen to be out of town which I would venture to guess the average person buying a $100K car might travel a bit for work. For whatever reason we couldn't do the delivery and then we kept missing the time and date to do it. I had left voicemails and text messages to sort it out..it did finally work out and our guy, Nam did a great job explaining the experience. There were a number of experiences that were minor though that lead to my lower rating which is about the car and the service. First, Sales guy, Sergey was very good, kind reasonable. Finance also was fine but weirdly enough I ordered and shopped with Rachel but then they switched me to Sergey which was just weird since she really did all of the selling and even on the finance related sales stuff she did that too..however commissions work out she really should have the commission. Next, Technology issues: Remote Start app totally unreliable in fact really could leave you stranded if you are planning to use it to open your car say for your kids when you are on the mountain and you want your kids to get stuff out of your car and are counting on the app to open it up..well don't count it it..it isn't reliable. Next, when using Android Auto there is no easy way to park..the camera button isn't dedicated so every single night when I go into my garage I have to press multiple buttons to see my car's front camera to park safely. Next, the car didn't come with the Data Plan activated which seems to stop certain things from working. The kick sensor wasn't working on one side, the Route Planner app wasn't working, So after about 30 days of having the car with about half of the time being in the shop..don't get me started about calling customer support for LandRover that was a true disaster. The guy knew absolutely nothing about my car and had no business talking to customers about technology issues. More

They have really stepped it up from previous experience! WHen previously visiting the service department, I would leave thinking how much room for customer service improvement there is and would share it with my co-workers. Why? because I am in the industry myself of serving clients and believe in a standard of high performance. It is simple, and some businesses don't even get close. It's little things that make a difference. My recent experience at the service department made me even make a comment that "Wow it is noticeable that something has changed here..."! I could tell that there may now be accountability to service performance. Bravo to making changes and Bravo for always improving! Suggestion: I would like to know when making the appt. what my options are for a service vehicle, if it is offered, and if not available what are my options. Thank you! More
