Mahal Lanik has been such a dear to help me through the financial process of purchasing my first vehicle. Lastly but not least of these is Zach Pietron has been so kind and courteous to me to make sure that I am always happy when I leave. All of these employees of the dealership have gone above and beyond the call of duty to take care of and address any needs or concerns that I have. 2015 Jaguar F Type R Coupe Experience It was a rather simple and pleasurable purchase process. I decided to stop by and see the new F Type Coupe and within 15 minutes after being cordiall It was a rather simple and pleasurable purchase process. I decided to stop by and see the new F Type Coupe and within 15 minutes after being cordially received by Vadim (Sales), I was in the car ripping it thru the gears. Jaguar has really stepped up their game with chassis and powerplant (550hp) and Anaheim Hills Jag LR matched it with their service, process, and pricing. The General Sales Manager was kind of enough to invite me into his office and personally discuss pricing and other options. The best part of the dealer service was that they didn't have the car I wanted (color and options) so they located exactly what I wanted and had it flat bedded in immediately. The purchase process was simple and quick and the delivery was spot on. The post sale followup was timely and not over intrusive as well. The dealership offers free car washes to any of their patrons who buy or lease a car and I have used this service often since I secured this amazing car about one month ago. More

My Wife and I visited on a Sunday (1-26-2014) evening to look at a 2006 Lexus rx 400h we saw in Auto Trader. Price was going for $16,950. With tax and fees this price was a little out of our range of budget. We negotiated and got it down to $17,600 with tax and fees. We needed $17,000. I was waiting for the salesman Greg to call back the next day to see if there was any chance for the $17,000. Tuesday, I got a email saying 17,300 and if we were willing to make the deal. As it was not what we were ready to make a deal with we were ready to make it anyways. As I was looking for other cars on Auto trader only 48 hrs after being at this dealership and spending time to negotiate on Sunday I see the same car at now at a reduced price at $15,495. $1495 less. So I call to come in a buy but with another salesman, in which I know now I could buy for less than $17,000 with tax and fees. As I'm talking to him he says someone else is currently looking at it and that he would call me back if sold. Of course it sold. In short I found out they sold the car for $16,200. Much less than what I was willing to buy it for. I'm not bitter that I lost opportunity for this car but more upset at the professionalism and lack of knowledge it was for a sale to go and not give me a call to let me know price was reduced by $1495. I will never make a deal here again. Also to let you know. On there website there is a opportunity to do a live chat. DON'T DO IT. You are talking to a computer, not a live person. Takes them forever to get back to you. Chat names are fake names. More
I am giving them the rating as indicated because I believe strongly that no car dealership should operate on such a level. On December 24th, I took my wife to shop for a possible vehicle for her as believe strongly that no car dealership should operate on such a level. On December 24th, I took my wife to shop for a possible vehicle for her as a Christmas present. There we saw a white on white range rover with a package called the autobiography. My wife immediately was interested. However the dealership was asking for a 30k mark up over sticker. There we talked to their sales manager Ken Babineau. Immediately upon our conversation, mr. Babineau indicated they were not willing to sell us for Msrp due to the exclusive nature of the vehicle. There, we left the conversation and departed the dealership to grab lunch. During lunch, my wife expressed her continued interest to obtain the car that day. As a result, she called Mr. Babineau and requested that he contact the general manager Sven Larson to see if he can accept pricing with a 10k markup instead. My wife left explicit instructions with Mr. Babineau to get back to us within the hour so that we know if we can purchase a cashiers check before the bank closes by 2 that day if our counter offer was accepted . After waiting with no call back til 1:45, we headed back to the dealership where my wife asked how come Mr. Babineau had not called her back. Despite what he promised to do over the phone , he coldly told my wife he is under no obligation to call his general manager for a 10k markup price. His exact words is "why should I call? ...not at 10K over" Upon our insistence that as his duty as a sales person he needs to relay all offers, he called the general manager Mr. Larson on the spot. Immediately Mr Larson answered the phone. Mr. Babineau asked him if they can accept 10k over. Immediately when asked the question, Mr. Larson had Mr. Babineau ask what our last name and area of residence were, which we responded with confusion since we have never been asked such a irrelevant question in all our years of purchasing cars from dealerships . Immediately after we told him our last name and area of residence , he relayed to Mr. Babineau he will not sell the car to us. After this ordeal, I did some research on yelp about this dealership and found similar horrific experiences of bait and switch and racial profiling. It turns out this is not the first time Mr. Babineau has treated Chinese in this manner. In addition, it became crystal clear that Mr. Larson asked our last name as part of racial profiling because as I read from reviews, cars are being bought by Chinese to ship and export to Asia. Car companies frown upon such a practice and punish its dealers if they found out. First of all, we don't export cars for a living and have multiple high line vehicles that we own. We have purchased many cars from Rusnak auto group and have NEVER been asked for our last name to qualify for a purchase.Yet, we have been racially profiled and discriminated by this dealership because of our Chinese last name. Last name and area of residence is not of relevance as is to financial qualification. To me this is no less different than the countless Japanese Americans who were racially profiled and sent to camps during WWII for fear of being Japanese spies. Being a Chinese American, it's clear we have been stereotyped, insulted and refused sale of a car to us based on our race. As I am an auto enthusiast, it is my understanding that jaguar and landrover are owned by Indian company. I cringe to think that Tata, an indian/Asian company would allow dealerships to employ people like Mr. Larson, and Mr. Babineau who clearly are the worst ambassadors. More
I was experiencing a persisting problem in my front suspension. The competing dealership where I purchased the car refused to diagnose the problem. Further, during the process, Jay noticed that the custom floor mats that were to come with my car were not provided by the selling dealership and worked it out to have them installed during the same visit. In my experience of leasing over a dozen cars, my recent positive experience with Jay and Land Rover of Anaheim Hills stands head and shoulders above all others. Since purchasing my Landrover in 2005 and coming there for service since that time, you are the only service advisor who has taken the time to explain what and why certain repairs were needed and actually taken me to the vehicle to show me what had been replaced or repaired. You never cease to amaze me with your knowledge the vehicle and ability to explain things to me in layman's terms. I can't tell you what a great feeling it is to know you are taking care of my vehicle and that I won't be charged for unnecessary repairs and that you are there to make sure the repairs are done correctly. It gives me great peace of mind which is something you can't put a price on. Car repairs can be worrisome and nerve-wracking at times but working with someone as knowledgeable, articulate, and pleasant as you helps to alleviate those concerns. From the initial phone call to checking out, I was kept in the loop about the progress of my vehicle. The line of communication from Jay was excellent. There were no surprises, just pure honesty. Jay is very personable and his knowledge about Land Rovers surpassed all others. I would highly recommend working with Jay and this dealership if your vehicle is in need of service! When we are ready to purchase another Land Rover vehicle, it will be from this dealership, solely due to Jay and the service personnel who performed the work.
