My 22 year-old was with me so I was ready for the ensuing "fight" and to demonstrate to him what you had to do so the car lot did not rip you off. Well, I've bought many, many new cars and this experience was totally different than any I'd experience! The price and the trade-in were agreed upon almost immediately. I was shocked about that! Next we go to the finance department and here is where my biggest battles in buying a new car usually happen. Totally shocked here too. They had a great interest rate and the terms were perfect. They explained all the other "options" for insurances but never once put the hard sell on us. After we signed the papers, my son looked at me and said "I thought there was going to be a fight?"
